Hello Handsome!

Hello Friends! Today I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog serving up some coffee goodness! I recently got the Simon Hurley Mosaic Florals Slimline Stencil and I'm in love! I used it for the background of my mini slimline card and it was so much fun to use!

The adorable little coffee cup is from the Coffee Cuties die set from Sugar Pea Designs. How cute is that little face with those pink cheeks and who can resist those little arms and legs!

I added a sentiment from the Penned Elegance 2 stamp set from Papertrey Ink and cut it out with the matching die.  I just love how this card came out!

Have a great day! I already am!

Just a Note

Hello to all of my lovely crafty friends! I am up on the LDRS blog today and I have a vision of loveliness to show you. It's no secret to anyone who knows me that my favorite color is pink so it's a very common theme in my card making and in my life in general. Today's card is no different.

To make this card I started out by painting some lovely pink ink in various shades on to some watercolor paper. I did the same thing with green inks and then yellow. The next step was to use the Perfect Petals Layering Dies to cut out the petals, leaves and center of the flower from the watercolor paper. I just love the all the different shades of color you get with watercolors. For the top layer of the center of the flower I used gold glitter paper for some extra added sparkle.

For the base of my card I cut out a panel of white card stock using the largest die from the A2 Diagonal Stitched Layered Card Toppers. The detailed edging is so pretty from these dies.  Next, I decided to stretch my supplies and use the
Modern Geometric Coverplate I as a stencil.  I used a very heavy weight card stock to cut out the Coverplate and then I placed it over the stitched layer panel and stenciled over it in a very light grey ink. I was able to achieve a soft look of texture without adding bulk to my card.

All that was left was to add a sentiment to my card and for that I used the Essentials Stack Stamps and Sentiment Stack Die. These stamps and dies make it so easy to cut out multiple sentiments to have on hand for all types of cards. Talk about making life easy!
Here is one more look at this floral beauty!

Thank you so much for visiting the blog today and letting me share my card and process with you!
Have a great day,

Holiday Themed Coffee Tags

Hello Coffee Lovers! It's my day to take over the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog and I have four fun holiday themed coffee tags to share with you!

I really enjoyed making these tags because I used lots of fun elements and die cuts on each one and I just love the look of a layered tag. It brought me back to my shabby chic style of card making.

I started with a "to go" style coffee cup die cut from holiday themed patterned paper. I added a koozie and a lid to each cup in coordinating colored card stock. Next it was time to add lots of fun elements to decorate the cups. Each koozie got a little coffee themed sentiment punched out with a small scalloped circle. I just love the addition of the sparkly red heart and dainty silver spoon.

Decorating the top of each cup was my chance to continue layering fun elements for a random look. I used an old Martha Stewart snowflake punch from my stash to cut out some sparkly snowflakes. I punched a hole in the middle of them and threaded them on to some twine. Next I punched out a small tag from a Karen Burniston die set I have and stamped To and From on each tag with an older Lawn Fawn stamp set. The last element I threaded on to the twine was a cute little jingle bell that gave so much character to each tag. The last thing I added to each tag was a little sprig of greenery to add a festive element.

I really enjoyed making these tags because I had no actual plan in mind and I just kept layering lots of elements til I was happy with the design.

I think I'll decorate a gift card sized envelope with these tags and give out some Starbucks or Dunkin cards in them. I know I'd love to receive a small gift like this.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope I've inspired you to make some original tags of your own. Dig through your stash and see what you can add to your tags!

Have a great day, I already am!

What's Poppin'?

Hello crafty friends! I am up on the  LDRS Creative blog today and I have a fun and colorful card to share with you featuring stamps and dies from the new Pastry Pals - Exclusive Craft Kit!
Are there any Pop Tart fans out there? I know I loved them growing up and so did my kids!
This card features 2 happy Pop Tarts and a fun polka dot background, details below!

Below is a description of the new Pastry Pals - Exclusive Craft Kit that I used to create this card!

This Pastry Pals Exclusive Craft Kit is available for a limited time only.  You'll have the most fun with the adorable Pastry Pals stamps and coordinating dies.

Color these 'Pastry' friends in your favorite color combos and create the most adorable scenes.

Have fun creating easy and amazing backgrounds with the Circles Layering Stencils.....use 1 - 2 or 3 stencils, in any combination for a variety of effects on your projects.

Add the WOW factor with fun edges using the Offset Slimline Stack-ables Dies.  Use them individually or layered in any combination.

The possibilities are endless with this timeless kit!

Craft Kit includes:

  • Pastry Pals 4" X 6" Stamp Set
  • Pastry Pals Coordinating Die Set
  • Circles Layering Stencils - 3 stencils
  • Offset Slimline Stack-ables Die Set - 4 dies

I had so much fun creating this card and here's the recipe:

I started out by die cutting a piece of white card stock using the largest die from the Diagonal Stitched Layered Frames Die Set I really love the detailed edge these dies create!

Next I took the Layering Circle Stencils from the Pastry Pals - Exclusive Craft Kit and stenciled some circles in Soft Kisses and Bali Blue ink using the incredibly soft LDRS Blender Brushes.

For the top layer of the card I used the second largest die from the
Diagonal Stitched Layered Frames Die Set and I cut out a piece of vellum to stamp my Pop Tarts on. The vellum is see through so it allows you to see the pretty background without covering it up.

The last step was to stamp my Pop Tarts and sentiment and color them in to match the circles in the background. I used foam tape to pop up the vellum panel being careful to hide the tape behind the die cuts.

Here is a closeup of those adorable little pastries:

Thanks so much for joining me today! I hope you'll check out the new
Pastry Pals - Exclusive Craft Kit! I guarantee you'll have hours of fun creating fun and colorful cards with this versatile kit!

Have a great day, I already am!

Witches Brew

Welcome back to my blog and another post for the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog!

I hope everyone had a Happy Halloween doing whatever it is you do on Halloween! I wanted to share one more belated coffee themed Halloween card before we move on to the rest of the holidays!
This is a shaker card that I made using some fun dies from Lawn Fawn and Spellbinders!

I used the Lawn Fawn Stitched Mug Frame for my mug and filled it with a fun shaker mix from Trinity stamps. The fabulous witches legs are from the Let's Be Frank dies from Spellbinders. I really love how they have spaces to fill in the socks and shoes with different pops of color!

The purple stars in the background are from an older Echo Park stencil and I printed out the sentiment using a word processing program where I could mix and match different fun fonts.

This was a fun card to make and the last of the Halloween cards until next year.

Thanks for joining me today, have a great day!

Coffee Cuties

Hello Coffee Loving friends! I'm over on the Coffee Loving Cardmker's blog today with a super cute caffeinated card! I was waiting for the recent Sugar Pea Designs release like a little kid waiting for a new toy! It was so hard to wait to get my hands on the super cute coffee dies they just released!
The new set has the cutest coffee cups, coffee pot and adorable little arms, legs and faces to go with all of them. I fell in love when I saw them and couldn't wait to get my hot little hands on them.
Here is my card for today and it just might be my favorite coffee card of all time!

Oh I could not love this trio of coffee cuties anymore if I tried! Sugar Pea Designs has really outdone themselves this time in my opinion!

For the base of my card I did some light stenciling with the Cool Beans stencil in some light grey ink. I then got to work putting together the coffee cups and coffee pot from the Coffee Cuties Sugarcuts dies. The little faces and arms and legs just give them such life and character! The little eyeglasses just put me over the edge with their cuteness!!!

Once I had assembled all the pieces for the cups and pot I popped them up with foam tape on my coffee bean background. I also included a sentiment from the Brew-tiful Sentiments stamps on the bottom of the card in black ink.

I am in love with those little eyeglasses but I think the little pink cheeks really hikes up the cuteness factor!! And I'm in love with those cute little arms and legs, they make the cups look like they are dancing don't they!

Thanks so much for joining me today!
I hope you enjoyed my little caffeinated cuties as much as I did!

Have an awesome day, I already am!

Pretty Poinsettia

Have you been hard at work creating your holiday cards since June or are you just starting now? Either way, LDRS Creative has some fabulous stamps and dies to not only put you in the holiday mood but also help you make beautiful cards for your friends and family!

Today I have a slimline card to share with you that I made using 3 products from the recent holiday release.

I just love the Potted Poinsettia Stamp Set and I decided to stamp it on to some watercolor paper and paint it in some pretty reds and greens. To give the flowers some added sparkle I added glitter to the centers.
The Potted Poinsettia Coordinating Dies cut out my image perfectly and I set it aside to dry and work on the rest of the card.

For the base of my card I used the smallest die in the Elegant Stitched Frames Slimline Dies and cut out a white panel. I lightly stenciled some polka dots all over it to give it a bit of interest. I layered the polka dot panel on to a larger panel cut with patterned paper and the base of the card was cut with kraft card stock using the largest die to form the side opening card.

After assembling all the layers on top of each other, I stamped a sentiment from the Potted Poinsettia Stamp Set at the bottom of the card and then popped my flowers up on some foam tape.
For the finishing touch I added some sparkly red jewels around the card.

Such a festive holiday card!

Thanks so much for joining me today, I hope you enjoyed my card and will check out all of the
LDRS Creative holiday collection and get started on your own holiday cards!

Have a great day, I already am!

National Coffee Day 2021

Welcome Coffee Lovers! Today is National Coffee Day and we have been celebrating all week over at the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog! Here is a link to today's post explaining all of the festivities.

There will be a hop featuring all of the Super Sponsors from this past week.

Today I am featuring a project using the Bear Cozy Kit from super sponsor Ellen Hutson.
This kit features enough materials to make TWELVE cozies!

* 10 piece die set
* 6 colors of Essentials by Ellen Wool Felt 8 1/2" x 11"
*6 colors of DMC Floss
* Large vinyl mesh zippered storage pouch

I made 2 projects with this kit and I absolutely adore them!
One is a traditional teddy bear and the other is a unicorn.

For the teddy bear cozy I used all of the dies included in the kit and added some pearls for extra cuteness! I just love how the bow looks on the bear's head.

For the unicorn I paired the dies in the set with a few extra dies in my stash to make the unicorn.
I love how VERSATILE this set is and can be incorporated into almost any animal with a little bit of imagination.
Check out all of the Coffee Lovers DT projects today to see how many other animals you can spot!

Freshly Ground Heaven

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I am sharing another caffeinated card over on the
Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog in my I.C.U. (Intensive COFFEE Unit)

My card today features a fun and whimsical coffee cup from the
Catherine Pooler Mug Shots stamp set and I used the matching dies to cut out the pretty little cup.

I colored up the cup with my Copic markers and I doodled some white polka dots on to the heart. I just love white polka dots on a pink heart! Actually my 2 favorite colors are pink and teal and I incorporated both of them on this card.

I started with a white A2 card base and glued a black layer on to the base to build the rest of my card. Next I measured a piece of white card stock to 5 1/4" x 4" so it was just slightly smaller than the black layer. I used the Hero Arts Script Bold Prints background stamp to stamp a partial image along the left side of my white layer. To do this I tore a scrap piece of paper in a wonky pattern to mask off the white card stock leaving a random pattern when I stamped the script print. I really love how that came out!

I wanted there to be steam coming out of the cup so I took the steam image from the Mug Shots stamp set and stamped it directly on to my white layer. I popped my coffee cup up on foam tape right over the steam and I stamped my sentiment directly under my cup. I used the Darcie's Milk and Cookies stamp set for my sweet sentiment. To finish off my card I added some sweet little black hearts from the

I really love how this card turned out, it's got a clean, bold and graphic look that I'm quite fond of!

Thanks for stopping by my ICU today, I love sharing coffee with my friends!

Have a great day, I already am!

Pretty Poinsettia

The holidays are slowly approaching once again and many of you might be starting to make your cards early this year! LDRS Creative has you covered with some fabulous stamps and dies that are perfect for holiday cards!

I am up on the LDRS Creative blog today with this gorgeous poinsettia card!
This card features the fabulous Layered Poinsettia Dies and the beautiful

I started by cutting out a panel of white cardstock with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Layered Card Toppers Die Set and then embossed it with a sweater pattern embossing folder.

Next I did some watercoloring with various shades of red and green so I could cut out my poinsettia flowers and leaves with some varied shades of color. I used gold glitter paper to cut out the center of the flowers to add a little bit of sparkle. I used the same gold glitter paper to cut out the letters so they would match the flowers.

I finished off my card with some pretty little gold pearls to tie the card together.

I really love how elegant this card looks and the Layered Poinsettia Dies make it so easy to create professional looking cards! Make sure you check out the entire release of holiday inspired stamps and dies available now at LDRS Creative!

Screaming for Coffee!

I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog again today and I want to know.....
Where are all of my pumpkin spice latte lovers at?
I've been seeing all of the Fall inspired cards all over social media lately so I figured it was ok to jump on the bandwagon. Even though I live in South Florida and we won't likely experience Fall weather until February, can't hurt to pretend!

Here is my not so scary Halloween inspired coffee card!

For the base of my card I used a spider web stencil from my stash and made a background on some white cardstock. The coffee cup was cut out of orange and white polka dot paper using the Coffee Cup Fold-It die from The Stamps of Life. I then took the Pumpkin face stencil from The Rabbit Hole Designs and gave my coffee cup a not so scary face.
For the sentiment on the bottom I used a sentiment from the Coffee Talk 2 stamp set from Sweet and Sassy stamps. I finished off the card with some shiny black and orange sequins for some fun!

I love how this not so spooky coffee card turned out and I hope you like it too!
Now go enjoy some fall inspired drinks and send some cooler weather my way!

Have a great day, I already am!
