The Rabbit Hole Designs May Release Inspiration Hop ~ Day 3

Hello and how did you enjoy the adorable Terrier stamp set
The Rabbit Hole Designs had for you yesterday?
Today we have a brand new stencil to share with you and it is so much fun! It is called the Broken Glass stencil and
and here is a look at it:

I made a shaker card using the new stencil.
For my background and I used a fun technique with Distress Oxide Inks and watercolor paper. I started by doing some ink blending with 3 different colors of ink on to some smooth card stock and I made sure to apply the ink heavily.  Once I was done, I removed the stencil and sprayed it with water heavily until there was visible beads of water all over the stencil with the ink still on there. Next I laid my watercolor paper on to the stencil while it was still wet to pick up all the wet ink that was left and the result was this beautiful soft pattern of the stencil.  I just love how this turned out and I knew it needed a beautiful sentiment to match.  I used a sentiment from the Fearless stamp set and I thought it went perfectly.  I decided to maker it a shaker card so I cut a circle out of the stenciled pattern and stamped the sentiment under it on the card base.  I put some acetate behind the circle and laid some fun Rabbit Hole sequins on the card base.

Lastly I popped the stenciled panel up on foam tape and applied it to the card front.  For a little extra feminine touch I added some twine and a rose to the top of the card. I really love how this card turned out! Here is another look at this beauty!

The Rabbit Hole Designs May Release Inspiration Hop ~ Day 2

Hello and how did you enjoy the buggy stamp set
The Rabbit Hole Designs had for you yesterday?
Well if you're like me then you're more of a furry cuddly type person and you will love the stamp set being featured today!
The stamp set is called Caffeinated Terrier
and here is a look at this new set:

It features the most adorable little terrier hugging a cup of coffee and a sweet little hashtag to go along with him!
If you have a vivid imagination like a couple of our DT members then you saw the little guy hugging a trash can! Either way he is adorable and he loves whatever he is holding!

🗑 🗑 🗑

For my card I colored up my little terrier with my Copic markers and cut him out with my Scan n Cut.

For the background of my card I decided to make a little scene using a cloud stencil and some ink blending for grass. To add a little more interest to my card I added a very pale layer of some text with a large background stamp once the scene was done.

I didn't initially intend for there to be extra die cuts of clouds on my card but I stamped the sentiment on to the sky and I didn't like how it looked.  That's where the clouds come in LOL.  I covered up my sentiment with a big puffy cloud and relocated it to the grass.  It's amazing how you can alter a card and no one would ever know.  I thought I'd share my re-design with you for a little laugh.

I also added a few extra hearts to my card using the small heart stamp from the Love You More stamp set.

Here's a look at the finished card one more time.

Clearly my little guy is loving his coffee but
make sure you hop around to the other DT member's blog to see how they used the new set on their cards!

Boba Tea Shaker Card

Good news everyone! My ICU is essential and still open for business during this quarantine!
Everyone still needs their Caffeine during stressful times right!

I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog today with a SUPER CUTE card
made with an even cuter stamp set by Mama Elephant! A couple of my teamies did their civic duty to enable the rest of us crafty gals to check out this new stamp set and I'm happy to say I caved in and snatched up this adorable stamp and die combo!
Introducing the

BOBA TEABoba Tea - Creative Cuts
Boba Shaker Combo - Creative Cuts

Serious cuteness overload if you ask me! I grew up in the Hello Kitty era and those ears on top of that cup just made me squeal!

After watching Rina Galit's video introducing the stamp set and dies I was ready to dive in and create my own fun card using these super cute images and dies!
You can click this link to see Rina's video, it's pretty awesome!

SHAKER CARDS: FEATURING BOBA TEA AND BOBA SHAKER COMBO

Here is the card I made for today's post:

The funny thing about Boba Tea is not only have I never tried it but until I joined the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Design Team, I had never even HEARD of it.  I guess I've been living under a rock because it seems to be pretty popular. As a matter of fact our fearless leader, Amy seems to drink it pretty frequently and posts the prettiest pictures in all different colors.
Apparently I have a lot to learn!

Oh My Gosh!!!  Would you look at those cute images and that adorable shaker cup!  Is there anything cuter than that little kitty and monkey hanging on and sitting in your cup! The Boba Shaker Combo set even comes with a die to cut out 9 individual boba pieces to put inside your shaker!
The stamp set has matching dies to cut out the cute images and the Boba Shaker Combo is larger and allows you to make easy shaker cards with interchangeable tops for your cups.  There is a straw die cut as well and a small die to make a hole in your cup to fit the straw! Mama Elephant literally thought of everything!

For the main panel of the card I used the brand new

Even though I didn't make a slimline card I loved how the thin scalloped panel looked centered on the card base.  I colored the cute little images with Copic markers and shaded the larger shaker cup with Worn Lipstick and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks.
To fill my shaker cup I used some Gold Star Confetti Mix and some Mirrored Hollow Star Confetti Mix mixed with the boba die cuts in brown paper. I just love the sparkly look it gave the card!  I glued all the pieces in place and stamped the sentiment from the set turning it into a birthday card. To finish my card I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Caribbean Ocean.

I really enjoyed making this card and it just goes to show you that you don't have to drink boba tea to make an adorable boba card! Thank you for joining me today and I hope you check out this super cute set because it is so much fun to play with!

As always, have a great day, I already am!

The Rabbit Hole Designs May Release Inspiration Hop ~ Day 1

Hello and how is everyone doing in quarantine these days?
Anyone going buggy yet?
Well if you are then The Rabbit Hole Designs has the
release for you!
Today starts day 1 of the May release Inspiration Hop and we are featuring a brand new stamp set called
Buggy For Caffeine! Here is a look at this new set:

It features 3 bugs: an ant, a grasshopper and a beetle. There is also The Rabbit Hole's signature caffeine molecule and 7 cheeky sentiments which include 3 funny hashtags.

🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜

Today I used the grasshopper on my card.  I just love that he is holding 2 cups of coffee!
I don't normally like bugs and as a matter of fact I'd rather not come in contact with them at all but my little secret is that I actually enjoyed playing with these little buggers for this release.

For my card I colored up my little grasshopper with my Copic markers and then layered him on to a piece of embossed vellum and then on to some fun patterned paper.  Easy peasy card but with lots of texture and interest.  I finished off the card with a sentiment from the new set and my card was done.

Make sure you hop around to the other DT member's blog to see how they used the new set on their cards!

Four Fun i-crafter Projects!

Today I want to share 4 fun projects with you!
They are all made with some fun new dies and gorgeous
 embossing folder from i-crafter!

The first project is a re-purposed tin that I decorated and turned into a keepsake that could be used as a jewelry box or to store any fun trinkets! For us crafters it could hold sequins, die cuts or any small items that need some organization!

To begin decorating my box I chose some pretty patterned paper to cover the top of the box. Next, I used the Folded Butterfly Die cut from some pretty floral paper to sit on top of the box. I also used some gold wire to hold the butterfly together and form the antennae.

For the word "dream" under the butterfly I used the
I just love how such quick and easy decorations makes such a lovely piece of decor for you night table or craft room!

-----------------------------------------------------

The next project up today is a shaker card I made using the new Water Lily 3-D Embossing Folder

This embossing folder is like the Cadillac of embossing folders!
The details are stunning and you won't believe the depth that this folder gives to your cards!  I used the embossing folder on some kraft paper and used the panel as the base of the shaker card. Next I made a frame from pale pink card stock using a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die and backed it with an A2 sized acetate sheet. To fill my shaker I used Pale Pink Heart Sequins and some
Sparkling Clear Jewels.  For the sentiment on the front of the card I used the "Love" die from the Heart Hand Wiper Insert Dies and the word "you" was cut using the Carly Alphabet Dies.  Both words were cut from pink card stock, treated with sticky embossing ink on the bottom half and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I love the elegance this embossing folder gives to this card!

------------------------------------------------------

The next card up today was actually a collaboration between my friend Niccole and I.  Niccole created some beautiful alcohol ink backgrounds for her friends to use any way they wanted to. She asked us our favorite colors and then went about making us some gorgeous backgrounds! Here is the card I created with my handmade background.

I made a frame from pale teal card stock using a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die  and for the sentiment on the front of the card I used the "Love" die from the Heart Hand Wiper Insert Dies and the word "you" was cut using the Carly Alphabet Dies.  I used glittered black card stock for the letters to match the elegance of that dreamy background. Big thank you to Niccole for making us those beautiful backgrounds to play with.

-------------------------------------------

The last project up on my blog today was made from an amazing interactive die from  i-crafter called The Exploding Shaker Box.
Here is a description of this amazing product:

A fun exploding gift box with an interactive shaker window to make an exploding shaker box. The box measures 3″ x 3″ x 3″ when closed. Remove the lid and the sides flip open to reveal the contents of the box. Set includes 11 thin metal dies.

It's hard to get an idea just from pictures of all the crafty goodness that went into this box but I sure did have fun making it!
Honestly the sky is the limit when you are creating a box with this die because you can add as much or as little as you like.  You can add pockets and windows and shakers and layers and so much more! Here is a look at the inside of the box when the top is lifted and it falls open.

Isn't that shaker window at the bottom of the box fun? You can fill it with any shaker bits you want! I used some pretty Mirrored Hearts in my shaker for some sparkle and shine. I decorated the 4 walls with some butterflies from the Floral Garden Dies and I used the HB2U die from the Zip Gift Tag Dies

This set even comes with a pocket die so you can make a small insert to stamp or write a message on. How cute is that!

To top off my beautiful box I die cut the Folded Butterfly Die out of purple foil card stock and added the "For You" sentiment from the
