Aim for the Stars!


Hey there, thanks for stopping by today, I have an out of this world card to share with you today using one of the newest stamp sets from The Rabbit Hole Designs. It's called Space - Infinity and Beyond and it has the most adorable little astronaut holding the moon on a balloon string! I just love that image and I decided to go with a rainbow theme for this card. I also used the brand new 
Aim For The Stars Stencil on my card for the background and the sentiment.



        



To begin I stamped my astronaut directly on to my card panel and colored him up with my copic markers.  I decided to color the little strip on his chest in rainbow colors to match the theme of the rest of the card.  The stars at the top of the card and the sentiment were both done with the Aim For The Stars Stencil. I selectively stenciled the sentiment in rainbow colors and added white highlights with my gel pen. I matted the stamped panel on to a piece of rainbow patterned paper and added both panels to my card base.

I don't usually make one layer cards but I really like how this card came out. It's simple but colorful and I love how this stencil can be used in so many ways.

Love You to the Moon and Back!


Welcome to my blog, today I am featuring a CAS card I made using one of the new stamp sets from 
The Rabbit Hole Designs. The June release is all about space and the card above uses a sentiment from the Infinity and Beyond stamp set.




One of the things I love about this stamp set is the fun font that all of the sentiments are written in so I decided to make that part of the focal point of the card.  I created a galaxy background and then cut a heart shape out of it for the center of my card and then stamped the sentiment running up one side of the heart. I don't often make CAS cards but I really love how this card came out. For a little extra decoration I also added some interest with the Dotted Flower Stencil on the corners of the card and some exclusive Rabbit Hole sequins to match.

Did you notice that adorable little cow in the stamp set? You can create your very own cow jumping over the moon for your project! So many possibilities!

The Rabbit Hole Designs June Release - Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of the Out of this world June Release from The Rabbit Hole Designs.
Yesterday we featured one of the stamp sets from the new release and today my teamies and I are featuring the Aim For The Stars Stencil and the Ribbon Star Stencil.
I used the Aim For The Stars Stencil on my card and the astronaut from Infinity and Beyond stamp set that we featured yesterday.


I stamped and colored my astronaut and then I stenciled in the stars and heat embossed them with silver embossing powder. I am really in love with the sentiments from this stamp set.  It's such a pretty font and the sentiments are very sweet! The Rabbit Hole Designs June Release - Day 1



The June Release at The Rabbit Hole Designs is definitely OUT OF THIS WORLD!
No...... I mean LITERALLY........ OUT OF THIS WORLD!
The theme this month is space and the astronauts have invaded The Rabbit Hole.
This month The Rabbit Hole Designs has 2 new stamp sets and 2 new stencils that will have you creating galaxy backgrounds for days! Let's get right to the goods, shall we?

The 2 new stamp sets are:



Space - Infinity and Beyond
Space - Miss You

And the 2 new stencils are:

          

Aim For The Stars Stencil
Ribbon Star Stencil

Today my teamies and I are featuring the Space - Infinity and Beyond Stamp Set.

The card I made for today's release features our sweet little astronaut swinging from the moon. 
It's such a sweet image and the sentiments in the stamp set are written in such a beautiful scripty font. I created a galaxy background for my card using Blueprint Sketch, Seedless Preserves and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks and some white acrylic paint for accents.  Once the background was completed I used a cloud die to cut out borders for the top and bottom of my card.  I stamped my image and sentiment on my card and then I added in the borders. I really like how this card came out and I like that you can make the astronaut appear to be swinging from your card.
