Santa Tag

Welcome to my blog! Today I have a Christmas tag that I created using the new stamp set released by The Rabbit Hole Designs called Kringle. I started off by die cutting the largest tag from the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Scalloped Nesting Dies in white card stock.
For the background of the tag I used the Candy Twist Stencil and some Nuvo Glacier Paste in Golden Era. While the Nuvo paste was drying it was time to prepare Mr. Kringle for the tag.
I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo black ink and colored him in with my Copic Markers.
My Scan n Cut did a great job of cutting him out and for some extra added fun I added some fun white puff to his hat and hems with a snow pen.
(It's hard to see in the pic but in real life it's a fun effect!)

Once the tag was completely dry I die cut HO HO HO from red glitter paper and adhered it down the right side leaving room on the left for Old Saint Nick. He got popped up on foam tape and the only thing left to do was to add ribbon and bakers twine to the top of the tag.

Rabbit Hole products used on this tag:

I just love how this tag turned out and how much fun it was to make!

The Rabbit Hole Designs July Release Day 3

Today is day 3 of The Rabbit Hole Designs July Release and we are rounding out this release with a fun new die called the Candy Twist Die! This is a unique die that cuts out 3 connected candy twist shapes and all the inner half moon shapes as well. You can customize this die to fit whatever themed card you are making. It pairs well the previously released Candy Twist Stencil.

Also being released this month are the fluffy new Cotton Tail Blending Brushes and they are so affordable you can buy one for each color of the rainbow!

For my card today I used a previously released stencil called Circles and Stars and the new Cotton Tail Blending Brushes to add color to the background of my card.  I die cut the Candy Twist Stencil 3 times out of black and then 6 more times out of every color of the rainbow.  I made each candy piece one color of the rainbow and placed the small half moon pieces back in individually.  It really didn't take that long and I love the look it gave!

The "Sweet" die cut word is from Kat Scrappiness and was the perfect addition to this card. I stamped the word "Wishes" from the Kringle stamp set which was also released on the 29th. I thought the card needed a little bling so I added some drops of Stickles around the card. I also added some highlights to the Sweet die cut word with a white gel pen for some extra interest.

Check out what the design team has in store for you today using the Candy Twist Stencil die!

The Rabbit Hole Designs July Release Day 2

I'm back with Day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Designs July Release!
Yesterday we brought you Santa and today we are introducing 2 mischievous doggies in a stamp set called Pawlidays! I just love how the dog on the left is literally hiding in the Christmas tree!

I also used the Light Me Up Stencil in the background of the card to match the whimsical style of the card.  I just love how those cute dogs look like they are up to no good! I made sure to add some sparkly Stickles to the lights once they were stenciled in place.

Check out what the design team has in store for you today using the Pawlidays stamp set!

The Rabbit Hole Designs July Release Day 1

Welcome to day 1 of The Rabbit Hole Designs July Release!
It's the proverbial Christmas in July over here and we are starting the release off with Kris Kringle himself! The stamp set is even called Kringle and features a super fun Santa, 2 happy trees, a banner and 5 sentiments in a fun curly font!

Although it's difficult to see I used the brand new stencil that is also being released today called
Slice of Christmas. This stencil has so many different elements you'll want to use it on every card!

Look at all that Christmas fun! There are 2 different trees, the letters H and O to spell out HO or OH and there is a snow bank and some icicles for hanging off of a house or just a border on a card.
I used both snow shapes on my card but they are rather hard to see because I used matte medium and glitter on them.

There is one more surprise today that you will just LOVE!
The Rabbit Hole Designs have also come out with their very own Blending Brushes!

They are so beautiful, soft and LARGE! The soft fluffy head feels like BUTTAH!
Trust me when I tell you that you are not going to want to get them inky the first time.
You might just want to order one extra to keep white and pristine.

🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇🐇

I used one of the brushes to apply white ink over the stencil on to my kraft card stock panel but I redid the card with matte medium and glitter.  Here is a picture of the panel after I applied the ink with one of the new brushes. It applies ink so smoothly, you're going to love them!

Here is another look at my card with the supplies used.

I also added some fun white puff paint to Santa's cuffs for some extra fun!
I love how this card turned out and that happy Santa just makes me smile!

Check out what the design team has in store for you today using the new release!
