Paper Sweeties 25 Days of Christmas 2019

Hello again everyone and welcome to
Day 9 of 25 Days of Christmas with Paper Sweeties!

Today I have a fun Christmas card for you featuring the
masking technique.

The 2 Paper Sweeties sets I used on my card are the
and the

To start off I stamped the holly berries and leaves stamp in the middle
of my white panel and colored them in with my Copic markers.
Once they were all colored in I cut out a piece of masking tape the exact shape
as the leaves and berries and covered my colored image with it.

Next I placed 5 words from the Merry stamp set randomly
over the card. I made sure to overlap the berries and leaves
in some spots to purposely stamp over the masking paper.

When I pulled off my mask, it appear that the words are
stamped behind the image.  I love the masking technique
for making clean looking cards in one layer.

I finished off with a few festive sequins in green
and red and my card was done.

This was an easy card to make but
delivers an overall impressive look.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today! Make sure to check back in with Paper Sweeties every day in December to see all the cute projects the team has in store for you:

Paper Sweeties 25 Days of Christmas 2018

Hello Paper Sweeties fans, I hope you have been enjoying the 25 days
of Christmas so far.  We have had some amazing Christmas projects
from the design team and guest designers. I am back today with my
second project for the month.  I made a tag from the
Sweet Cuts For You die and I embellished the top of the tag
with some patterned paper from the Doodlebugs
Sugarplums 6x6 paper pad.  To finish off the top of the tag
I tied some Frosting color seam binding with some pink
and white twine for a frilly finish.

The Christmas tree is from the new Merry Christmas Y'all stamp set and I
die cut it from the Doodlebugs Sugarplums paper pad, then added some snow to
the edges of the tree. The sentiment is from the Merry stamp set and I heat
embossed it in white.
I'm glad you stopped by for a visit today, and I hope you enjoyed
my sweet tag!  Don't forget to visit the other designer's blogs to
see the projects they are sharing.  Here is a list of the remaining
designers and what days they are sharing for the rest of the 25 days!

Paper Sweeties November 2018 New Product Release Rewind

Thanks for joining me on day #3 of the October 2018 *NEW* product release for
Today is Release Rewind day and I will be sharing 2 cards with you
that combine some previous stamp sets and the new Merry stamp set!

For my first card I decided to make a baby card and what better sentiment to use than the word "Love" from the new Merry stamp set that was released yesterday. This card was actually inspired by Sweeties Teammate Karen Letchworth. She used the Merry stamp set to make a love themed card which gave me the idea to use the stamp set for something non holiday related. Thank you Karen!!

I pulled out an old Paper Sweeties stamp set called Bouncing Baby for the focal point of this card.  Unfortunately that set isn't available anymore but you can purchase Bundle of Joy which has great sentiments to make an adorable baby card.

Once I was done making this card I knew I wanted to create something holiday related. I was so inspired after seeing Debbie's tag for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags event, that I knew I wanted to create something with that in mind.

I love how striking this card came out. I used the new stamp set Merry again and stamped out 'Faith,' 'Joy' and 'Hope.' I love how this card came together with the holly stamp that I used from the Planner Series collection. That stamp set is called Planner Series: Happy Holidays Set. The icons from this set were the perfect addition to my cards for this release.

I added Seam Binding which is in the Paper Sweeties store.

Paper Sweeties November 2018 New Product Release Party!

Welcome back to day #2 of the November 2018 New Product Release Party
with Paper Sweeties! Today is the day that you can get your
hands on the awesome new holiday stamp set "Merry" we sneaked yesterday!

For today's card I decided to make a shaker card.
I've always loved making shaker cards, it's so much fun picking out the
shaker bits to go in the shaker portion of the card.
For my card today I decided it would be fun to include small images from
the Planner Series: Happy Holidays stamp set in the shaker window.
The small Christmas images were the perfect size to fit in the window
and they added to the holiday theme of the card.
To add a fun winter feeling I added shimmery flaky fillings that resemble snow.

I stamped the "FA LA LA" sentiment from the new "Merry" stamp set
under the shaker window, I just love that bold cute font, it's so much fun!
To give the sentiment a little more interest I added the sweet little
girl image from the Planner Series: Checklist stamp set.
When deciding what to write in her little sign my daughter gave me the
super cute idea to add the word "sing".
I hand wrote in the word "sing" and I thought it went perfectly
with the main sentiment!
You can't help but fall in love with the super sweet Paper Sweeties images!
Here is a close up of that sweet little girl with her glittered hair bows!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I love sharing my cards with you and this one was so much fun to make!

I hope you'll join me tomorrow for the New Product Release Rewind!

Paper Sweeties November 2018 Product Sneak Peeks

Good morning Paper Sweeties fans!
I am excited to share with you day #1 of the November 2018 NEW product release!
This month Paper Sweeties is releasing 2 new stamp sets. One is called Merry and it has 11 different holiday related words in a fun clean font.
The other is called Planner Series: Everyday Basics.
Here is a picture of the "Merry" stamp set being released tomorrow.

The card I have for you today features 3 of the words and
I have made ornaments out of them.
I stamped the words on circles and glittered them up with some glittered
embossing powder. Here is my card:

and here is a close up of one of the ornaments so you can see the glitter detail:

Recently Paper Sweeties took part in Tracey McNeely's 25 Days of Christmas Tags
and I used the Merry stamp set to make 3 tags.
I heat embossed three of the words on to vellum
and then framed them with the Sweet Cuts Rectangle Scalloped Frames
Here are those tags:

This stamp set is very versatile and can be used in so many ways!
Check back tomorrow to see more inspiration during our new product release party!

Make sure you visit all of the other New Release Team members blogs to
see what they have created for the sneak peaks!

25 Days of Christmas Tags with Paper Sweeties

Welcome to my blog today crafty friends!
Paper Sweeties is participating in the 8th annual
25 Days of Christmas Tags and a
special thanks to Tracey McNeely for hosting this fun event!

Every day in November through the 26th, a different company will be represented and participate by having their
Design Team Members share Christmas
tags to inspire you using their new products!
All the details can be found on Tracy's blog.

Today it's our turn at Paper Sweeties to share some
festive tags with you!
I made a trio of Christmas tags featuring a new stamp
set from Paper Sweeties called "Merry"
that will be available for purchase on November 15th!
This stamp set features a great assortment of holiday themed words that are perfect for cards,
scrapbook layouts, tags and yes even ornaments!

I used 3 of the word stamps from the set and heat embossed them in red, silver and gold on to vellum and I framed them with the Rectangle Scallop Frame dies. I die cut the frames out of red, silver and gold glitter paper to give them some holiday sparkle! I love how elegant they look on the vellum!
Here is a closeup look at them individually.

I hope you liked my Christmas tags and I hope they have inspired you to make your own!

Here is the blog list of the other fabulous
 Paper Sweeties DT members!
