Kat Scrappiness Holiday CARDAPALOOZA!


Welcome to my blog! Today I have a lot to share with you!
The November release at Kat Scrappiness is amazing and I want to share all of the projects I made using the brand new dies and sprinkles!

I'm going to start with my favorite dies from the release! They are called the 

Christmas Shaker Ornament Dies and there are 3 different shapes included in this set. They make the cutest little shakers and I made 4 cards with them but then I took it a step further and created some felt ornaments with them as well. I made most of them with the sewing machine (with my mom's help) and one of them I hand stitched with floss thread. Here are the cards and felt ornaments I created using the fabulous die set.

Next up from the new release is this gorgeous 
It's perfect for holiday cards or any occasion where a bow would be appropriate! 
I have a holiday card and a birthday card to share with you using this new die!

The next die I want to share with you today is another Slimline Die called the 
Forest For The Trees Slimline Die and it features a wonderful forest that you can use year round depending on how you decorate it! It also comes with 3 different size mini leaves to decorate your trees with depending on the season!



Here is my card using the Forest For The Trees Slimline Die and it features a Winter Wonderland scene using dies from the Crafter's Essentials Winter Dies.

And last but certainly not least I have one more shaker card to share with you that features an older Kat Scrappiness die that is just perfect for all of your holiday cards!




What an elegant die and it's so easy to create a shaker card using the multiple layers that come with it. You can make separate shaker sections or make one big shaker like I did.  I decided to make a holiday card in some non-traditional colors. This card is pretty simple to let the tree and sequins take center stage.

Slimline Cards

Instagram Launches 'Stay Home' Story & Co-Watching Feature Amid ...Please Wash Your Hands Engraved Plastic Sign | 4" x 6 ...

Ok now that we have that official business out of the way let's get to the fun stuff!
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

And by fun stuff I'm talking about the new Slimline Dies at Kat Scrappiness!
I am addicted to making these cards! I think I've been making standard A2 size cards for so long it's a nice change of pace to make something different.  I think the fun part is that you can fit so much more on to one of these cards because they are bigger.

Slimline cards measure 8.5" x 3.5" and fit into a standard #10 business sized envelope.

The first set of dies are the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Slimline Dies.

 They come with 4 dies measuring:

8 1/4 x 3 1/4
7 1/2 x 2 1/2
6 7/8 x 1 7/8
6 1/4 x 1 1/4


The second set of dies are the Embossed Edge Nesting Slimline Dies.



 They come with 5 dies measuring:

8 1/4 x 3 1/4
7 1/2 x 2 5/8
6 3/4 x 2
6 1/8 x 1 1/8
4 3/4 x 5/16

❤️ Kat Scrappiness Valentine's Release ❤️ Day 3

Hello everyone and welcome back to
 day 3 of the new Valentine's Day release over at Kat Scrappiness!

Today the DT will be featuring Shaker Kits!
We all have different shaker kits to share with you and they are so much fun!
Did you always want to make a shaker kit but were intimidated? Now you don't have to be!
Kat Scrappiness shaker kits make it SO SUPER EASY to assemble all the parts of the shaker element!

Today I am sharing 2 cards using 2 different shaker kits:

Jar of Hearts Shaker Card Kit



Here is the card I made using the Jar of Hearts Shaker Card Kit


I filled my jar with Candy Kisses Valentine Sequin Mix and 6 mm Mirrored Clear Hearts.
The word "kisses" on the top of the card was cut down from the Snowflake Kisses Brush Script die.



Large Heart Shaker Card Kit


Here is the card I made using the Large Heart Shaker Card Kit



Aside from the Large Heart Shaker Card Kit

I used quite a few other Kat Scrappiness products to make this card:

Say it With Hearts Stamp and Die Set
I Love You Shadow Dies
Yellow Heart Sprinkles
Pink Heart Sprinkles
Sparkling Clear Jewels
Lime Green (Faceted) Resin Hearts
4 mm Blue Heart Droplets

This card was so much fun to make because I love picking out the mix that will fill my shakers! I'm not a great cook but sometimes with shaker cards you feel like you adding in all the ingredients for a great recipe! It makes you feel so creative!

You can watch Jo assemble the kit and apply those instructions to all of the other kits. The assembly part is basically the same for all of them.

❤️ Kat Scrappiness Valentine's Release ❤️ Day 2

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog!
Today is the second day of the new Valentine's Day release over at Kat Scrappiness!

Today the DT will be featuring 2 new dies called:

Floral Heart

and

Valentine Word Search



I have 2 cards today featuring these fun new dies as well as some 
previously released Kat Scrappiness sprinkles.


For my first card I used the brand new 
Floral Heart Die
Pink Flower Sprinkles
Mixed Flower Sprinkles
and
Mirrored Clear Heart Confetti









For my second card today I used the brand new

Valentine Word Search Die




I just loved designing cards with these dies and sprinkles and I know you will too!

SHAKE, RATTLE & ROLL

I'm up on the Kat Scrappiness  blog today and we are going to 
SHAKE, RATTLE AND ROLL!
For those of you who don't know, Kat Scrappiness has a HUGE assortment of 
Sequins and Sprinkles and the collection has recently expanded!
Today I wanted to share 1 card and 3 tags with you using 7 different varieties
of sequins and sprinkles from the shop!


Look at those fun sequins and sprinkles!!  Honestly the possibilities are endless!
Let me show you what I made with those beauties!
The first project is a card I made for my Mom's birthday.
She is a huge fan of cupcakes..... the cuter the better!
The Lawn Fawn Stitched Cupcake Dies were the perfect dies to use for her card.


The Kat Scrappiness Stitched Scalloped Square Dies were the perfect dies to create the 
frame for this shaker tag. For the clear portion behind the frame I used the 
Lawn Fawn Acetate Sheets. Once the frame was made I filled it with the 
To complete the sentiment on my card I used the Sweet Word Sentiment Die.
I die cut it out of pink paper and backed it in another layer cut with brown
paper to give it a matted look and make it stand out more.

I loved adding the second layer on the cupcakes to make it look like the frosting
was dripping down.  My mom LOVED her card and I LOVED making it for her!

The next 3 projects are shaker tags that I made using more of the fun 
sprinkles and sequins from the shop. 
Since I couldn't get enough of those cute Lawn Fawn Stitched Cupcake Dies,
I made a tag using the cupcake and I cut the frame out using some Doodlebug
patterned paper from the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Tag Dies.


I stamped the sentiment in pink and yellow ink from the Lawn Fawn Tiny Tag Sayings
stamp set inside my shaker tag. I love how the sentiments are hidden by the shaker bits 
until you shake them out of the way!


For this shaker tag I used the Sweet Candy Sprinkles and the Cupcake Sprinkles to fill it up with.
I also added some Pink Solid Confetti Mix to the outside front of the shaker tag.



The last 2 tags I have to share with you are from a fun planner meet up that my daughter
Taylor hosted recently.  They decided to do a make and take project and thanks to 
Mona Toth, I had the idea to dress up mini mason jar cups with a sweet shaker tag!

These sweet tags were made using the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Dies for the frame
and some vellum for the base.  To fill these 2 tags I used some glitter and Watermelon Sprinkles 
on one and some Pink Flower Sprinkles in the other.


To decorate the fronts of these tags I used the Lawn Fawn "Flamingo Together" stamp set
and the Lawn Fawn Aloha Stamp and Die Set for the pineapple and sunglasses.
The girls had a great time making these tags and everybody took their creations home

Here's my little secret....... we had a very dear friend of Kat's at our little meet up
to make a shaker tag and have some fun with us!
My second little secret is that Taylor made the second tag with 
the Pink Flower Sprinkles and she had a lot of fun doing it!
All the girls had a blast using their very own mixture of different sequins and shakers!



WHEW! That was a long post with lots of pictures but I had so much to share
with you!  I hope I have inspired you to do a little 
SHAKING, RATTLING AND ROLLING YOURSELF!
