♥♥The Shabby Tea Room - Week #15 Cottage Comfort♥♥

Good Monday morning everyone and welcome to my blog!  Today is the day I start my official Shabby Tea Room design team responsibilities!  I am very excited for this because the Shabby Tea Room is such an inspiring place to be!  I have always enjoyed playing in their challenges and now I am honored to be amongst the talented designers who actually set the challenges and give inspiration for the weekly themes!
Everyone at the Tea Room has been so nice and I am looking forward to working with all of the them.  For those of you who don't already know, Debbie is the hostess in the Tea Room and although she is busy, she makes time to see and comment on EVERY submission, EVERY week!  That's quite a load but she does it with style!
So without further ado, I give you The Shabby Tea Room's Challenge #15 - Cottage Comfort
This challenge is being hosted by
Nicole Segnere.  You can visit her blog by clicking here →My Craft Room Creations

Frost It Pink is the sponsor this week and they are offering a great prize package to the winning sumbission.

Who wouldn't love to win a yummy prize package from their store... Click on their link and go visit them.  They have paper and ribbon and embellies and more!!  I just bought some patterned paper from the Girl"s Paperie line and I can't wait for it to get here!

This week's challenge is called Cottage Comfort and it is photo inspired.  Your creation should use warm colors and/or stripes.  I just love this photo, it makes you feel like curling up with a nice book at your Country Cottage Getaway!  Here is the inspirational photo, let's see what you can do with it!

My card (at the top of the post) uses papers by K and Company, pins by Maya Road, buttons by Papertrey Ink and flowers by Prima.  The key embellie has been in my stash for awhile and is also by K and Company.
I hope you will play along this week at The Shabby Tea Room!  Please check out all of the cards made by the Design Team this week.  I think you will love what they have to show you!
Well, that's all for now from here.  I can't wait to see all of the lovely submissions this week in the Tea Room!
Have a wonderful day everyone!  I already am!
{hugs} Lisa

  8. OMG, Lisa, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm just back from vacation and trying to catch up and see you made the DT for the STR!! I'm so envious, but seriously happy for you!!! Your first card is so totally a winner - I just LOVE it. Great colors and embellishments and how funny, I have that vintage graphic printed out and sitting on my work table. I was going to use it about a month ago, but it wouldn't fit on what I was working on - LOL, great minds think alike!! Congrats again - can't wait to see what you will be designing for them over the upcoming months!!
