This set has a fun stack of tea cups atop a cute little teapot and 4
tea-riffic sentiments to go along with it.
Here is a look at the set:

I have 2 cards to share with you today using this set.
The first one is a clean and simple card showcasing the image in the set
and decorated with teal jewels for some bling.

The second card has a bit more color to it.

I started by stamping the teacup stacks in Versamark ink and then gold embossing them.
For the color I used Distress Inks and did some watercoloring.
The sentiment was heat embossed in gold as well on to a tag cut from vellum
and adhered to a piece of lace.

I hope you enjoyed my projects today, there's so much more inspiration

National Coffee Day

Good morning Coffee Lovers and happy National Coffee Day!
For those of you who don't already know, today is National Coffee Day and why not?
Every food and drink should have there own day right?

I am so excited to be a part of the Coffee Loving Cardmakers design team
because of fun collaborations like the one I have for you today!

Trinity stamps DT along with the Coffee Loving Cardmakers DT
have come together in a collaboration to bring you
a super cute new coffee themed stamp set!

The name of the set is "Frappy Camper's Perking Spot"
Isn't that adorable? It's got the most adorable camper that can be all decked out as a
coffee shop on wheels! There is even a matching die set available here.
There are so many scenes that can be made with
this set and the DT from Trinity and CLC have outdone themselves!
Here is a look at that awesome stamp set.

And take a look at the back of the packaging for this set:

Taniesa Vlasak, the owner of Trinity stamps was gracious enough to include everyone's name
on the back of the packaging who took part in brainstorming this new stamp set.
I'm not going to lie, it was pretty exciting to see my name included with all of those
talented card making designers!

And here is the card I made using the new stamps:

I started by stamping out all of the images from the set and coloring them with my Copic
markers.  I used my Scan n Cut to cut everything out. I cut out some green polka dot
patterned paper for the grass and gave it a scalloped border with the
Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die and I gave it a wavy top border with the
I really enjoyed putting this card together, I even placed a cup of coffee in
the little boy and girl's hands. For a finishing touch I added some hand drawn
birds around the clouds. Can you tell I'm not an artist LOL!

Today on the Trinity blog they will be showcasing this super cute stamp set and you can
see all of the amazing cards made by BOTH design teams!
Hop on over there because I overheard there will be a $20 gift certificate prize up for grabs!

This adorable set is now available in the Trinity stamps online store.
What combination will you make with this coffee inspired set?

Thanks so much for joining me today, I hope you check out this stamp set over in
the Trinity shop and pick one up for yourself!
Until next time, Happy National Coffee Day!

Have a great day, I already am!

Coffee Date with Amanda!

Welcome back to my blog crafty friends!
Today I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog with a fun new feature
called "Coffee Date". The design team has been pairing up with a crafty friend
and collaborating together to make similar cards for one post.

Today I'd like to introduce my coffee date to you!
Her name is Amanda Stevens from Pear Blossom Press and I met Amanda
on The Rabbit Hole Designs DT.  Amanda is a fellow coffee lover and her husband actually
roasts his own coffee beans which means she is a Coffee Lover Extraordinaire!
Amanda is also a super creative cardmaker who in my opinion
is a master card engineer! Amanda makes the most interactive and fun cards and
there is usually one or more moving parts on her cards!
In addition to her interactive cards Amanda and her husband have
invented an easy system for making light up cards!
Her system is called E-Z Light and you can read more about it
over on her blog Pear Blossom Press!
As you can see Amanda is a busy creative woman and I am honored
that she agreed to join me here today!

Amanda and I talked and we decided that we would both use the stamp set
We also decided to use the same color combination of kraft and salmon
with some oranges and yellows (like sunrise colors).
When I made my card I was focusing solely on the sunrise colors and I forgot
completely about the kraft and salmon.
My forgetful brain strikes again...
I just love the card Amanda made.
She used the most beautiful colors and her card is amazing and elegant!

You can hop over to her blog
for more details and to see how she made her card and the supplies she used.

For my card I decided to make a sunrise burst background with a stencil and
add some balloons for a real PAR-TEA!

I recently purchased the brand new Taylored Expressions blender brushes and I was dying
to ink them up! I used a stencil from My Favorite Things and some Taylored Expressions ink.
I just love how this background came out! I also used the Postage Edge Rectangle die from
Kat Scrappiness to do my sun burst ink blending. Here is a picture with all of the supplies used.
The sentiment is from The Rabbit Hole Designs stamp set Perfectly Blended.

Thank you so much for joining Amanda and I on our coffee date today!
I really enjoyed this collaboration with Amanda and I hope you did too!

Have a great day, I already am!

A 4x6 stamp set including 2 ribbon designs and 8 sentiments
1 pink ribbon enamel pin
1 Pink Pilot G-2 pen
1 package of pink blend confetti style sequins (not pictured above)
1 Rabbit Hole Designs enamel pin (not pictured above)

The bundle is available now but supplies are limited so if you want
all these goodies to be yours than click this link and head over there now!

I did get my hands on this fabulous package of pink goodness and I have a couple
of cards to share with you today!

For my first card I decided to make a shaker card using the pretty pink sequins in the
bundle.  I stamped one of the beautiful ribbon images in soft pink and put it behind
my shaker window then added some pretty pink sequins from the bundle and some silver
ones from my stash. Shaker cards are one of my very favorite types of card to make.

I love how elegant that ribbon looks inside the lacy frame!
I finished off the card with a sentiment from the set embossed in silver.

For my second card I decided that our little friend the Caffeinated Bee
would look really cute all colored up in pink!
She is definitely Fearless with her little cup of caffeine!

I also used the Circles and Stars stencil for the background of my card.
I just love how the word Fearless looks stamped in black over the ribbon.
That little Bee always cracks me up!

As always thanks so much for stopping by the blog and if you want your
very own Fearless Bundle than head over to the shop because it won't be there forever!

Let's Get Caffeinated

Hello Coffee Lovers and welcome back to my blog!
I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog today with some more
caffeinated inspiration in my ICU!

Lately I've been experimenting with alcohol inks.
I think I'm a little late to the game but when you're having this much fun,
I say, better late than never!
I've had my alcohol inks and yupo paper for quite a while and I finally
broke them out and had some fun.  I made several backgrounds and turned them into
quite a few cards.  Today's caffeine inspired card features a stamp
set from Technique Tuesday called Perk Up.
Here is my card for today:

I just love the combination of the pink and orange alcohol inks and the gold
ink finishes it off so nicely. I heat embossed the sentiment in gold to match the
highlights in the background.

I really love how this card came out and I think I'll be playing with my
alcohol inks a lot more in the near future.
It's so nice because you never get the same outcome twice!

Here is one more look at my card in all it's alcohol and caffeinated glory.
Thanks so much for joining me today in my ICU and I'll be seeing you back
here real soon!

Have a great day!

Paper Sweeties September 2019 New Release Rewind!

Welcome back to my blog for the New Release Rewind Day for Paper Sweetie's
September release.  Today I have 2 more cards to share with you using the brand new
stamp set Ewe Make Me Happy . The first card features that sweet little lamb and
the adorable "Love" sentiment from the set.  I did some repeat stamping with the Love sentiment
and made it the background of the card.  I love how the little lamb really stands out
against the vellum Scalloped Circle Sweet Cuts die.

For my second card today I used the sweet flower from the same set and I used a sentiment from
a recently released stamp set called Best Day Ever.
I just love how these flowers can be used alone on a card, they really have a lot of
character when you give them polka dots!

Don't forget to check out the other new stamp set released yesterday in the Paper Sweeties shop called What's Up Chickie?

Sassy Mermaid

Good morning Rabbit Hole fans!
Today I have a Sassy Mermaid to share with you.
I absolutely love the look of an ink blended background
especially on a sea themed card!

I used the following 2 Rabbit Hole stamp sets on my card today:

Mermaid Hair

Sassy

Card Recipe

I started with a piece of smooth card stock cut from a Kat Scrappiness
Distressed Edge Rectangle die so I could do some Distress Ink blending.

Next I took 3 different color Distress Inks and blended them down the
die cut panel.
Cracked Pistachio
Peacock Feathers
Blueprint Sketch
I sprayed some water on the panel to give it a distressed look
when I was all done.

I adhered my colored panel to a white card base using
Nuvo adhesive.

I colored the Mermaid from Mermaid Hair and her 3 fish friends and cut
them out with my Scan N Cut and popped them up on the front of the card.

The sentiment from Sassy was the perfect way to finish off this card.
I masked off the sentiment "born to be a" so that the "a" didn't stamp and
then I added the word Sassy.  I heat embossed the sentiment with
Brutus Monroe Alabaster White
embossing powder so that it would stand out.

A few Kat Scrappines Clear Solid Confetti Sequins and my card was done.

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!

Accident Hair

Did you ever have one of THOSE days at the hairdresser?

Welcome back to my blog!
It's my turn today over on the Rabbit Hole blog and I have
another fun card from the recent September release!

Well, for me, I grew up with 2 parents that were hairdressers so although
I never had a bad experience at the salon, I did have one hairstyle
that left me looking like our poor pumpkin friend.
It was a perm gone bad, ya know 80's hair that was out of control!
Just picture Little Orphan Annie times 10!!
Luckily having 2 parents that were hairdressers they were able to reverse
that perm quickly so there was no permanent damage to my fragile
teenage ego. 😂😂😂

Our pumpkin friend is not so lucky so she is rocking the pumpkin
hair that looks like an accident, or at least that's what she's telling her friends!

I recently broke out my Ranger Alcohol Pearl Inks and
started playing around with them and
I wound up with a few backgrounds that I actually liked!
I decided to turn one of them into a card for today's post.

Card Recipe

-I started with some Ranger Yupo paper and some Ranger alcohol blending solution.
I used some blue and orange alcohol ink and mixed them around until I liked
how it all looked together.

-Once it was dry I swiped some Kuretake Starry Colors gold paint randomly
across the panel to give it some extra shine.

-I cut a panel of it out with a Kat Scrappiness zig zag rectangle die and WALLA
instant background! I adhered it with Nuvo adhesive to a white A2 card base.

-My pumpkin friend from Pumpkin Hair Don't Care was stamped
with Copic friendly Gina K amalgam ink and then colored with similar Copic marker
colors from the background of the card.  Here are the colors I used:
YR02, YR18, R46, Y06, BG13, and G00
I then cut Ms. Pumpkin out with a Kat Scrappiness zig zag circle die
to match the background panel edge.

-For the sentiment I used a fitting sentiment from Sassy Sentiments
and stamped it out in black ink and cut it from a smaller
Kat Scrappiness zig zag rectangle die to keep the same theme on the edge.

-I popped the image and sentiment up on some 3M foam tape and
all was good in pumpkin hair land!

Here are the 2 sets I used on today's card:

Pumpkin Hair Don't Care
Sassy Sentiments

A Hug in a Mug

Hello Coffee Lovers and welcome back to my blog!
I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog today with some more
caffeinated inspiration in my ICU!

Today's card was actually inspired by a baby blanket I saw recently at work.
For those of you who don't already know, I actually work in a NICU.
That is a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
We take care of some pretty sick babies and it can get pretty intense at times.
Parents often bring in clothes and blankets for the babies and it is
a nice change from the hospital issued laundry.
As you can imagine I see my fair share of cute baby patterns and
recently there was a blanket that was made from pink plush material
and it had gold accents on it.  I fell in love and knew I wanted to recreate
that look on a card! Here is what I came up with:

I just love the look of gold sparkle on a pink background! It's so elegant!
After Amy the enabler recently shared a Hero Arts stamp set in the Coffee Lovers
Facebook group I knew I had to have it so of course I ordered it straight away!
The stamp set is the Hero Arts Monthly Hero Kit from August 2018.
It is coffee themed and choc full of caffeinated goodness!
I fell in love with the image and sentiment from the set
and I knew they would look so elegant on vellum!

Here is the Card Recipe:

-I started out with a piece of Simon Says Stamp Cotton Candy Card Stock
and I used a Kat Scrappiness Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die to cut a panel from it.

-Next I used the Feathered stencil from Taylored Expressions and I used Pixie Spray
to hold it in place on my pink card stock.

-Then I took my Versamark Ink Pad and swiped it all over the stencil making
sure to get good coverage in all the openings.

-Once I peeled the stencil back to reveal the feathered pattern I sprinkled
some Ranger Gold Embossing Powder all of the ink and shook it off.
I hit the powder with my Hero Arts Wagner heat gun until the powder was melted.
I just love to watch that transformation as it happens!
I adhered the pink embossed panel on to an A2 sized card base

-Next I cut die cut a piece of Bazzill Vellum with the Papertrey Ink
Basic Bookmark 3 die. I used the coffee cup and sentiment from the
Hero Arts Monthly Hero Kit from August 2018 and stamped them in
Versamark Ink . I coated the images in Alabaster embossing powder by
Brutus Monroe and heat set it with my heat gun until the powder was melted.
For the detail in the coffee cup I used the Ranger Gold Embossing Powder.

-It's tricky to adhere vellum without seeing the adhesive so I used a few
tiny Glue Dots to adhere the vellum on to the pink card panel.
The seam binding bow from Paper Sweeties was held in place with a larger
Glue Dot and that kept the vellum down a little better and could be hidden.

-I finished the card off with some sparkly Pink Blush Jewels from Pretty Pink Posh.
I used Nuvo adhesive to hold the jewels in place.

I just love how delicate this card looks and I love the gold
embossing on pink!
Thank you for stopping by my blog today!
Have a great day, I already am!
