Sentiments With Style

Kat Scrappiness is releasing 2 more sentiment dies today in their line of large sentiments with matching shadow dies. They are large enough to fill the front of your card and become the focal point all on their own. I just love the scripty font that they come in and on my card I used the brand new Thank You with Shadow dies.  The base of my card was made using the recently released
To give my card a little extra sparkle and shine I used sequins from the 50 Shades of Red sequin mix.
Also available now in the KS shop are matching envelopes in
3 different colors for your slimline cards!
The come in White, Whip Cream and Kraft.

For my second card today I have used the Hooray with Shadow die and I cut the main word out of glitter paper to really make it pop against the white shadow layer. For my background I did some ink blending with The Rabbit Hole Designs Diamond Flower Stencil. If I'm not using pink on my card then I'm probably blending some cool blues and I just love that beautiful blend of color!
My addiction with Kat's Clear Sparkling Jewels is quite evident on this card as well!

Thank you for stopping by today and make sure to head over to the Kat Scrappiness store to check out these amazing dies and all of the sprinkles and sequins mixes available.
Check back tomorrow to see 2 more new products hitting the store, you won't be disappointed!

Also make sure you take advantage of the Memorial Day sale, today is the last day!

Have a great day, I already am!

Welcome to day 2 of the Out of this world June Release from The Rabbit Hole Designs.
Yesterday we featured one of the stamp sets from the new release and today my teamies and I are featuring the Aim For The Stars Stencil and the Ribbon Star Stencil.

I stamped and colored my astronaut and then I stenciled in the stars and heat embossed them with silver embossing powder. Good Morning Spring

Hello and welcome to Lisa's ICU! I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog today and this week is a very special week for us caffeinated cardmakers! The Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop is going on until May 29th! There are over 70 sponsors for this hop offering up amazing prizes and offering discounts and sales in their shops! It's a ton of caffeinated fun for everyone involved! You can click on this link to go the main page of the hop for all the details and to link up your projects!

My card for today is full of flowers and watercolor! I recently won a gift certificate to
Polka Dot Orchard and lucky for me they are one of the Super Sponsors of the Coffee Lover's Hop.
I used my GC to purchase the Good Morning Spring digital stamp. This stamp has the most beautiful flower on a to go coffee cup with some sweet sentiments to match.

I printed the coffee cup image on watercolor paper and colored it with my Karin markers. I cut it out with my scan n cut and placed it on to a watercolored background. I sent the background through the printer to add my sentiment and it looks so good against the blue! I finished off my card with some Clear Droplets from Kat Scrappiness (another Coffee Lovers Hop Super Sponsor).

I am so happy with the way this card came out! The flower is so bright and pretty!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you'll check out the Coffee Lover's Hop if you haven't already! You have until the 29th to link up as many caffeinated projects as you want!
I'm enjoying creating all of my caffeinated goodness this week!

Just Brew It

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm up on the Kat Scrappiness blog with a bright and cheery coffee card! It just so happens that this week the Coffee Loving Cardmakers are celebrating their
Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Hop and Kat Scrappiness is a returning Super Sponsor for this event!

I just love making coffee themed cards and Kat Scrappiness has a whole section in their shop with coffee related stamps, dies, sequins and more! They even have realistic looking
Coffee Beans for shaker cards or embellishments! Check these out!!!

For my card today I wanted to make a bright and cheery coffee card so I grabbed some happy Doodlebug Simply Spring patterned paper and got to work! I usually gravitate toward the color pink when I'm making cards but today the blues and yellows caught my eye. I used the Layered Coffee Cup Die and cut out the cover and koozy using the cute little bumble bee/butterfly (not sure) patterned paper. For the base of the cup I used some light blue paper and embossed it with a polka dot embossing folder.  Next I matted this happy cup on to a white panel cut with the Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die and another yellow plaid panel with a larger Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die. Finally I added some blue and yellow confetti around the cup using the Party Confetti Sprinkles
For the sentiment at the bottom I used a stamp from Jaded Blossom.

I just love how this card came out, it just makes me happy!
Head over to Kat Scrappiness to check out all of these fun coffee themed products plus so much more! Lucky for you Kat is having a Memorial Day Sale through May 29th and you can save 15% sitewide using code MEMDAY2020.
Orders of $50 and more will receive a FREE sample pack of Kat's Star Spangled Sprinkles!

Thank you so much for joining me today!

The Rabbit Hole Designs June Release - Day 1

The June Release at The Rabbit Hole Designs is definitely OUT OF THIS WORLD!
No...... I mean LITERALLY........ OUT OF THIS WORLD!
The theme this month is space and the astronauts have invaded The Rabbit Hole.
This month The Rabbit Hole Designs has 2 new stamp sets and 2 new stencils that will have you creating galaxy backgrounds for days! Let's get right to the goods, shall we?

The 2 new stamp sets are:

Space - Infinity and Beyond
Space - Miss You

And the 2 new stencils are:

Aim For The Stars Stencil
Ribbon Star Stencil

Today my teamies and I are featuring the Space - Infinity and Beyond Stamp Set.

The card I made for today's release features our sweet little astronaut swinging from the moon.
It's such a sweet image and the sentiments in the stamp set are written in such a beautiful scripty font. I created a galaxy background for my card using Blueprint Sketch, Seedless Preserves and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks and some white acrylic paint for accents.  Once the background was completed I used a cloud die to cut out borders for the top and bottom of my card.  I stamped my image and sentiment on my card and then I added in the borders. I really like how this card came out and I like that you can make the astronaut appear to be swinging from your card.

You can hop along to all the DT's blogs to see more inspiration using this stamp set!

Don't forget about the Giveaway!

To celebrate the next three days of release, The Rabbit Hole Designs is giving away two gift certificates; one to a lucky Instagram Follower and one to a lucky Fan Page follower. Five Projects Using the i-crafter May release

Hello and welcome to my blog, thanks for stopping by! Today I have quite a few cards to share with you that I created using the recent release over at i-crafter!
The recent release had some awesome stamps and dies to create some very unique projects ranging from comic strip words and dies all the way to a succulent die set and even a plastic dome to created 3-D projects for shaker cards.

Here are the 5 projects I have to share with you today:

The first 2 cards are colorful and bold and I used a variety of stamps and dies on both of these cards.

The #1 Dad card was made using the
i-crafter also has their own line of ink pads and I used the Fired Ruby,  Lemon Drop  and Mango Madness  colors for my card.  The i-brush Ink Applicators  make applying color a breeze! They are tiny daubers that actually have a smooth brush on each of them. They look like foam daubers but they are actually soft brushes that apply colors smoothly and evenly. If you haven't seen them in action, head over to YouTube to see them in action!

My second card also uses the Comic Half Tone Dots stamp set and the Cosmic Flare Stencil  and I added some fun words using the Comic Words die set. I stamped each letter with the Comic Half Tone Dots stamp set to give them that comic book look. These stamps and dies are great for so many types of cards ranging from Father's Day to birthday cards and they are also awesome for masculine cards that I struggle with so much!

For my second and third cards today I used the Tiny Succulent Terrarium die set and the
Scattered Thoughts clear stamp set. I just love the succulent dies in the terrarium set. They make the cutest little cacti and succulents and you can decorate them with mini flowers or shade them for extra dimension.  I made a tag and a shaker card using these dies and stamps.

The last project I have to share with you today is a tag made using the Zip Gift Tag die set and the Happy Birthday Wiper Insert dies. I didn't make a wiper card but instead I used the Happy Birthday word dies to make this floral tag and added some fun gold leaves from the Flower Bursts die set and a fun butterfly from the Love Bugs die set.

These cards and tags came together so quick and easily using the fun products over at i-crafter.  They really spark my creativity and give me new ideas every day! Go check out all of the fun stamps and dies and stay tuned for more to come in the next few months from this awesome new company!

For more inspiration check out the i-crafter Facebook fan group and show off your projects using your own i-crafter stamps and dies!

Thanks for joining me today!
Have a great day, I already am!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 4

It's day 4 of the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop and today I have a new card using a beautiful stamp from Super Sponsor Unity Stamps.  My card today features the elegant Flutters To Go stamp and it has 2 whimsical butterflies on a to go coffee cup. I did a little bit of watercoloring on the butterflies with my new Karin Markers and I just love how pretty they look in blues and greens! I matted the panel with another panel of embossed script writing for an elegant look.  I finished the card off with some Teal Jewels from Super Sponsor Kat Scrappiness.

Unity is offering a Coffee/Tea themed prize package that includes 12 Unity stamps and 1 paper pack!
That is a value of over $200! Wow that is an amazing prize from a very generous company!

No photo description available.

I hope you are enjoying the hop so far! I have seen some amazing cards and there's much more to come! Thanks for stopping by today!

C-Ant Before Coffee

Welcome to my blog, today I have a card to share with you using the recently released Buggy For Caffeine stamp set and the Broken Glass stencil from The Rabbit Hole Designs.
Here's a look at these 2 fun products:

I started by coloring up my little ant with my Copic markers on a small rectangular panel and notching the 4 corners just for a little extra detail.  I inked the edges of the panel to make it stand out against the background.  For the background of the card I used a Distressed Edge Rectangle die and did some ink blending over the Broken Glass stencil with some brown ink. I love the way the brown ink on kraft colored card stock gave the card an underground feeling. After the stenciling was done I stamped the caffeine symbol all over the background for some extra fun.
It's no secret that bugs are not my favorite thing in life but this stamp set really was fun to play with.

🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜 🐜

I hope this coffee loving Ant puts a little smile on your face today.
Make sure to visit The Rabbit Hole Design's shop and take a look around. You'll find a lot more caffeinated critters to make you smile, I guarantee it!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 3

It's day 3 of the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop and today I have a card using the coffee cup and "Hello" sentiment from the mini stamp set from Super Sponsor,  Flora and Fauna called Hello Autumn

Flora and Fauna MINI HELLO AUTUMN Clear Stamps 20278 Preview Image

This set was gifted to me by my sweet friend Amy and she sent me the cutest card along with it. I love Amy's clean and simple cards and on her card she placed a sweet little bird on the coffee cup. I borrowed Amy's idea and added a parrot to my cup using the Critters in the Jungle stamp set from Lawn Fawn. The leaves and grass are from that set as well.
I couldn't resist blinging up my coffee cup to match all of the fun colors in my parrot so I used assorted jewels from Super Sponsor Kat Scrappiness in a rainbow of colors.

After I did all of my stamping and coloring I used the Neat and Tangled
Scalloped Die Set to cut the panel out. I matted that panel on a piece of pretty rainbow striped paper from Super Sponsor,  Sunny Studios Summer Splash patterned paper pack.
To finish the card I off I placed a piece of black card stock under my rainbow paper to really set off all of those beautiful summery colors!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Make sure to stop by the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop and play along. There's plenty of caffeinated inspiration to give you some great ideas!
Have a great day, I already am!
