The Rabbit Hole Designs January Inspiration Hop ~ Day 2

It's time for the January release over at The Rabbit Hole Designs and we are
super excited to bring you 4 new stamp sets and 3 new stencils.
These fun new products are available in the shop right now.

Today we are highlighting 1 stamp sets and 1 stencil.
The stamp set is:
"Sassy Birthday"

And today's stencil is called "Spell It"

I have 2 cards to share with you using the products we
are highlighting today.

For my first card I stenciled the background with the "Spell It" stencil.
The sentiment is from the "Sassy Birthday 2" stamp set that we will
be highlighting tomorrow. You might recognize that cute little doggie
from a previously released stamp set called "Doggone".
He was the perfect choice of animal to go along with this snarky sentiment.

For my second card I am featuring a sentiment from the stamp set we are
highlighting today called "Sassy Birthday".
The background of the tag on my card was made using the stencil
we will be highlighting tomorrow called "Twisted Sunshine".
I had so much fun with this stencil and I used on multiple cards for this release.
It really lends itself to rainbow ink blending!

I hope you enjoyed seeing the new release in action today,
I always love stocking up my birthday card stash and this
release is perfect for that!

Two For One Donut Day

Welcome back to my blog Rabbit Hole fans, I hope everyone enjoyed
their holidays with friends and family!

Today I have a special treat, two donut cards for the price of one.
I just love the sentiments from the
More Than Donuts stamp set and I used them to create the 2 cards
I am sharing today.

For my first card I made a miniature note card.
I started with an 8x4 inch piece of kraft colored card stock and folded
it in half at 4 inches. I covered the bottom half of the front panel
in pink patterned paper and after I adhered it, I rounded the corners of the
bottom of the front panel.  I then took the heart stamp from the
Sassy Sentiments - Anti Valentine stamp set and stamped it randomly
in kraft ink so it would give a tone on tone appearance to the top of the front panel.

I assembled a few cute donuts from my stash to the top of the patterned paper
and stamped my sentiment from More Than Donuts onto a cute tag.

A little pink twine to finish off the top of the card and it was done.
Why are donuts always soooooo darn cute?
🍩🍩🍩

My second card today is a gate fold card with a shaker element on the front.
The shaker element on the front is filled with fun sprinkles
just like you'd see on a donut.
I only adhered the heart shaker to one side of the front panel so
it could be opened to reveal the cute sentiment with donuts
on the inside.
I used 2 more sentiments from the More Than Donuts
stamp set for this card.

Here are the 2 stamp sets I used on today's cards:

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today, I hope
you enjoyed my 2 donut inspired cards.

Make sure to check back in just 2 short days to see all
of the awesome new products included in the new release!
We will be sharing inspiration and as always there will be a chance
to win prizes during the blog hop.

Have a great day, I already am!

A Cup of Patience

Well is Christmas Eve 2019 and here we are Coffee Lovers!
I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today with a cup of patience.

Let me explain why this is actually a cup of patience...

Many of you are scurrying around and getting ready to have
company over or preparing yourselves to head out to family and friends.
Either way Christmas is a holiday filled with lots and lots and lots of people!!!
You know what that means......... some you love and some...... not so much......

Some of you will need extra patience today to deal with all the
personalities you will encounter today so this card is for you!

This card just looks like just another holiday coffee card but when you pull
out the tag from inside it reveals a super funny sentiment
perfect for those of you who need just a little chuckle today...

I laughed so hard when I saw this sentiment from the Hot Coffee stamp set
from CAS-ual Fridays and I knew that it would
be the perfect stamp to use for this sometimes stressful season.

I started off with the new Coffee Gift Card Holder Die from My Creative Time
and instead of inserting a gift card I decided to add my sentiment on a tag
that you could pull out. I decorated the cup with some fun holiday
Doodlebug Christmas Town patterned paper to match the poinsettia flowers.
I just love these beautiful Layering Poinsettia dies from Hero Arts. I used some Festive Berries
Distress Oxide Ink for the flowers and Mowed Lawn for the leaves.
I die cut the center of the leaves out in gold foil cardstock.

Here is a closeup of the beautiful flowers:

Thank you so much for joining me on the morning of Christmas Eve 2019
for a little cup of patience. I hope this card and post put a smile on your face
and gives you a little boost of patience to face those friends and family
that require just a little more patience!
Happy Holidays and enjoy your day,
I already am!

The super cute patterned paper is from the
I thought the colors really popped against the kraft colored treat bag.
The sweet little white doily was the perfect touch to
to add some country charm to this project.

this bag is complete and ready for gifting!

Paper Sweeties 25 Days of Christmas 2019

Hello again everyone and welcome to
Day 9 of 25 Days of Christmas with Paper Sweeties!

Today I have a fun Christmas card for you featuring the
masking technique.

The 2 Paper Sweeties sets I used on my card are the
and the

To start off I stamped the holly berries and leaves stamp in the middle
of my white panel and colored them in with my Copic markers.
Once they were all colored in I cut out a piece of masking tape the exact shape
as the leaves and berries and covered my colored image with it.

Next I placed 5 words from the Merry stamp set randomly
over the card. I made sure to overlap the berries and leaves
in some spots to purposely stamp over the masking paper.

When I pulled off my mask, it appear that the words are
stamped behind the image.  I love the masking technique
for making clean looking cards in one layer.

I finished off with a few festive sequins in green
and red and my card was done.

This was an easy card to make but
delivers an overall impressive look.

I hope you have enjoyed my project today! Make sure to check back in with Paper Sweeties every day in December to see all the cute projects the team has in store for you:

Love and Hope

Hello and welcome to my blog!
Today I'm up on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog and I have 2 cards
for you using the Put a Bow on It stamp set that was recently released.

This stamp set is so elegant and can be used in so many different ways!
For the release I colored it up, cut it out and used it as a focal point
on the front of a gate fold card with a shutter mechanism on the inside.

On today's cards I decided to stamp directly on to my card and
heat emboss the images in gold.

For the first card I stamped the bow image and "Love" sentiment multiple times
randomly all over a white card stock panel cut to 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" with
Ranger Watermark Resist Ink. I love this ink as it gives a clean and crisp
impression every time and is super sticky.
Next I sprinkled WOW Gold Embossing Powder all over
the stamped images and hit them with my heat gun.
I love watching the transformation of gold powder when it melts,
it's truly magical and I never get tired of seeing it.
The next step was to die cut the largest rectangle from the
Kat Scrappiness Stitched Scalloped Rectangle dies from gold glitter paper.
I adhered the scalloped rectangle to the embossed panel and since it
was slightly smaller, it allowed some of the images to peek out around
the edges.  I love that look.

For the second card I repeated the steps of stamping the bow randomly over
the white card stock and heat embossing with gold but this time
I decided to a bit of watercoloring inside of the bows with some pretty pinks.
Once the bows were colored I stamped the sentiment "Hope"
from the Put a Bow on It stamp set in pink ink.
I once again used the largest rectangle from the Kat Scrappiness
Stitched Scalloped Rectangle dies but this time from pink glitter paper.
I backed the rectangle with acetate so I could create a shaker card this time.
I included some pink sequins from The Rabbit Hole Designs Fearless Bundle
as well as a mix of sequins from the Kat Scrappiness sequin shop.

I'm loving how these two cards came out and I love how versatile
the Put a Bow on It stamp set is.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Have a great day, I already am!

Season's Greetings

Hello crafty friends!
Today I had some crafty time and I decided to play with some new
crafty goodies I got recently from Simon Says Stamp and Taylored Expressions.

I just love the new Large Gnome Wafer Die from Simon Says Stamp and
there are so many different ways you can dress them up.
They are also available in a small version which I think I might
have to add to my collection as well.

For the background of my card I decided to do some stenciling with the
I spread some Nuvo Glacier Paste in Sea Sprite over my stencil
and the results are magical!
It's so hard to pick up the sparkle in a photograph!
This is my first time playing with this paste but I can see that
I will have to order more in different colors.
It really is the perfect medium for stenciling!

For the sentiment I used the Clean Line Christmas
stamp and die combination.
I used Cupcake ink from Taylored Expressions
for the sentiment. It matched the
patterned paper on the gnomes.
I really like how the dies cut the sentiments out
with a border around the exact shape of the stamp.

For the snowy hills that the gnomes are sitting on I cut
some white glitter paper out of the
Those dies are perfect for snow or grass or hillsides!

I really love how this card came out but for some reason I wasn't
able to get a picture of the card that I liked.
The lighter colors just seemed to get washed out in photography.

I am entering my card into the Monday and Wednesday challenges
The Monday challenge is Stars and the Wednesday challenge
is Traditional Christmas. I love how this card fit both challenges this week.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day
I already am!

A Cup of Joy

Welcome back to my blog and my "ICU"
Today I am over on The Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog
with a Cup of Holiday Joy!
Here in Florida we don't really get the frigid cold that they experience
up North but we do get our share of "chilly" days and that's when
you see everyone in boots with a red Starbucks cup in hand!

My caffeinated inspiration for today's card comes from
all of the festive to go coffee cups we see at this time of year.
Here is a picture of a to go coffee cup I saw at Target recently
and I wanted to recreate that same look on a card.

I began with a red card base and layered the 2 largest dies from the

For my coffee cup I chose my favorite die,
the Kat Scrappiness Layered Coffee Cup Die and I cut it from red foil cardstock.
The lid was cut from some beautiful white glitter cardstock.
I find it easiest to apply the accents on the coffee cup lid with the
Xyron Sticker Maker. Since the lid was cut from glitter cardstock
I knew the sticker maker would really help to stick my pieces in place.

To decorate the front of the cup like the Target cup I used
the gorgeous Simon Says Stamp Lea Snowflake Die cut from the same
glitter cardstock as the lid of the cup. I just love the shimmer from that paper!

Once I had the coffee cup all decorated it was time to add some festive
holly to the card.  I used the Kat Scrappiness Holly Leaves and Berry Dies
to add a pop of green to my card and I cut them out using foil cardstock
to match the cup. I just love these holly leaves and berry dies
because they come in a variety of different sizes.

All that was left to do was to add a sentiment.
I knew it had to be small one because the cup and holly took up so much
room on the front of the card.
I found the perfect small circular die in my stash in the
Spellbinders Hipster 1 Dies and I cut it out of red foil and heat embossed

I really love how festive this card came out and I hope it brings
some early holiday joy into your day!

Have a wonderful day, I already am!
❄️Lisa ❄️
