Pretty Poinsettia

Have you been hard at work creating your holiday cards since June or are you just starting now? Either way, LDRS Creative has some fabulous stamps and dies to not only put you in the holiday mood but also help you make beautiful cards for your friends and family!

Today I have a slimline card to share with you that I made using 3 products from the recent holiday release.

I just love the Potted Poinsettia Stamp Set and I decided to stamp it on to some watercolor paper and paint it in some pretty reds and greens. To give the flowers some added sparkle I added glitter to the centers.
The Potted Poinsettia Coordinating Dies cut out my image perfectly and I set it aside to dry and work on the rest of the card.

For the base of my card I used the smallest die in the Elegant Stitched Frames Slimline Dies and cut out a white panel. I lightly stenciled some polka dots all over it to give it a bit of interest. I layered the polka dot panel on to a larger panel cut with patterned paper and the base of the card was cut with kraft card stock using the largest die to form the side opening card.

After assembling all the layers on top of each other, I stamped a sentiment from the Potted Poinsettia Stamp Set at the bottom of the card and then popped my flowers up on some foam tape.
For the finishing touch I added some sparkly red jewels around the card.

Such a festive holiday card!

Thanks so much for joining me today, I hope you enjoyed my card and will check out all of the
LDRS Creative holiday collection and get started on your own holiday cards!

Have a great day, I already am!

Pretty Poinsettia

The holidays are slowly approaching once again and many of you might be starting to make your cards early this year! LDRS Creative has you covered with some fabulous stamps and dies that are perfect for holiday cards!

I am up on the LDRS Creative blog today with this gorgeous poinsettia card!
This card features the fabulous Layered Poinsettia Dies and the beautiful

I started by cutting out a panel of white cardstock with the largest die from the A2 Stitched Layered Card Toppers Die Set and then embossed it with a sweater pattern embossing folder.

Next I did some watercoloring with various shades of red and green so I could cut out my poinsettia flowers and leaves with some varied shades of color. I used gold glitter paper to cut out the center of the flowers to add a little bit of sparkle. I used the same gold glitter paper to cut out the letters so they would match the flowers.

I finished off my card with some pretty little gold pearls to tie the card together.

I really love how elegant this card looks and the Layered Poinsettia Dies make it so easy to create professional looking cards! Make sure you check out the entire release of holiday inspired stamps and dies available now at LDRS Creative!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

A Cup of Patience

Well is Christmas Eve 2019 and here we are Coffee Lovers!
I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today with a cup of patience.

Let me explain why this is actually a cup of patience...

Many of you are scurrying around and getting ready to have
company over or preparing yourselves to head out to family and friends.
Either way Christmas is a holiday filled with lots and lots and lots of people!!!
You know what that means......... some you love and some...... not so much......

Some of you will need extra patience today to deal with all the
personalities you will encounter today so this card is for you!

This card just looks like just another holiday coffee card but when you pull
out the tag from inside it reveals a super funny sentiment
perfect for those of you who need just a little chuckle today...

I laughed so hard when I saw this sentiment from the Hot Coffee stamp set
from CAS-ual Fridays and I knew that it would
be the perfect stamp to use for this sometimes stressful season.

I started off with the new Coffee Gift Card Holder Die from My Creative Time
and instead of inserting a gift card I decided to add my sentiment on a tag
that you could pull out. I decorated the cup with some fun holiday
Doodlebug Christmas Town patterned paper to match the poinsettia flowers.
I just love these beautiful Layering Poinsettia dies from Hero Arts. I used some Festive Berries
Distress Oxide Ink for the flowers and Mowed Lawn for the leaves.
I die cut the center of the leaves out in gold foil cardstock.

Here is a closeup of the beautiful flowers:

Thank you so much for joining me on the morning of Christmas Eve 2019
for a little cup of patience. I hope this card and post put a smile on your face
and gives you a little boost of patience to face those friends and family
that require just a little more patience!
Happy Holidays and enjoy your day,
I already am!

New Happy Hanukkah dies from Kat Scrappiness

Well it's official! Halloween is over so everyone is ready for the holidays!
All the stores will turn green and red and Christmas music will take over the airways!
And with Christmas coming that means Hanukkah is not far off as well.

It is one of my most favorite holidays because growing up the holidays were
always about family! I have very fond memories of sharing Hannukah
with my family and I always love lighting the menorah with my kids
as an adult. I have a beautiful menorah from a dear friend that she
gave me at my wedding and I take it out every year for Hannukah!

My friend Kathleen Driggers from Kat Scrappiness just came out with the most gorgeous
Happy Hanukkah die with matching shadow die as well!
She sent me one to play with because she knew I would love it!

This die is seriously one of the most gorgeous Hanukkah dies I have ever seen!
I used the shadow die for this tag and it really makes the words just pop!

If you celebrate Hanukkah and even if you don't you have to check
this die out! It really adds that special something to your Hanukkah cards!
She also has a similar die for Christmas you can check it out here.
I think that die will be the next on my wishlist!

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day!
