Sweet 'n Sassy - Coffee Lovers Collab Hop

Good morning all of you lovely caffeinated papercrafters! Today the Coffee Loving Cardmakers are super excited to be collaborating with Super Sponsor Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps!

You should have arrived here from Kathy Schweinfurth's blog. If not you'll want to start at the beginning which is the Sweet 'n Sassy blog.

I have 2 projects to share with you today that I made using some new products from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! The 3 coffee themed stamp sets that I used are the Coffee Talk 2 Clear Stamp Set, the I Like Big Cups Stamp Set and the Texture Tiles 9 Stamp Set.

My first project is a card using the Coffee Talk 2 Clear Stamp Set and the I Like Big Cups Stamp Set.

I stamped the coffee cup and sentiment on to a piece of vellum paper so they would stand out yet still show the gorgeous metallic heat embossing on the base of the card. I love the extra added touch of the twine bow with the tiny red glittered heart for a pop of color!

For my second project I decided to go 3-D and make a custom K-Cup holder.
I followed a simple tutorial on YouTube and decorated my holder with the Texture Tiles 9 Stamp Set and I used a sentiment from the Coffee Talk 2 Clear Stamp Set.

This holder was so much fun to construct and decorate and I love the way the text stamp made such a cute background for the sides of the holder!

There is one more stop on the blog hop and it is our very own Coffee Queen Amy Tsuruta
Make sure to head on over and show Amy some love for arranging this fantastic collaboration hop!

Before you go, remember to leave a comment here. One lucky winner from across all the blog stops/comments will win a $25 code to Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps! We will close the commenting February 5th at 11:59 pm pacific with a winner announced on both the Sweet 'n Sassy and Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blogs on Sunday the 7th.

Thanks so much for joining us today for the blog hop!

Enjoy your day, I already am!

You Warm My Heart

Welcome back to my blog! Today I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog and I have a card to share with you using two adorable dies from Lawn Fawn. The Outside in Stitched Mug and the Stitched Mug Frame.  These 2 die make the most adorable shaker cards and I filled it with some colorful Rainbow Heart Sprinkles from Kat Scrappiness. The pretty floral paper is from a Doodlebug paper pack.

The square panel under the mug was cut from white card stock using the Stitched Scalloped Square Nesting Dies from Kat Scrappiness and embossed with a polka dot embossing folder.

The sentiment on my card is from the Honey Bee Stamps Perfect Blend stamp set. I stamped it in clear embossing ink on black paper and embossed it with Brutus Monroe Alabaster embossing powder.

I made sure to pop the mug and sentiment up on foam tape for some extra added dimension on my card!

I just love how this sweet card came out and I hope you do too!

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great day!

I already am!

Paper Sweeties | January 2021 Look Back Inspiration Day #3

I'm here with Paper Sweeties

for the January 2021 Look Back Inspiration Day #3!!

Valentine's Day is right around the corner so I thought I'd make a LOVE themed card and Paper Sweeties has the absolute perfect die just for these types of card! The Sweet Cuts Love Die is written in a beautiful scripty font! I cut it out of several colors of card stock to make a pretty rainbow and I adhered it to a heart embossed background.
Here is a look at my card.

I also used some beautiful sequins to embellish my card in different colors to match the card stock.
I just love how the flower shape sequins add to the elegance of the card!

I love how this card turned out and I hope you do too!

Paper Sweeties | January 2021 Look Back Inspiration Day #2

I'm here with Paper Sweeties

for the January 2021 Look Back Inspiration Day #2!!

One of my favorite stamp sets from Paper Sweeties is the Sea You Soon set! It has the absolute sweetest little sea creatures in it. The seahorse in the set is definitely my favorite.  I just love her little smile and sweet face.  I also added the funny little octopus because it's my second favorite creature in the set.
The sentiment is from the Mermaid Wishes stamp set and was perfect for this card!
For the finishing touch I added some beautiful Green Apple sequins.

I love how this card turned out and I hope you do too!

Paper Sweeties | January 2021 Look Back Inspiration Day #1

I'm here with Paper Sweeties

for the January 2021 Look Back Inspiration Day #1!!

Valentine's Day is right around the corner so I thought I'd make a LOVE inspired birthday card!
Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays because of the decorations!  I love everything with hearts, pink and frills! My card today features 2 sweet Paper Sweeties stamp sets:

and

I started by stenciling some fun polka dots on to my background and then I took 2 small images from these sets and stamped them into each polka dot.  It came out looking just like patterned paper, one of my favorite techniques!  The sentiment is partially from the Cupcakes and Sprinkles set and the scripty "Love" sentiment was die cut using the Sweet Cuts Wish set.

To add some extra shine and frills, I decided to add some Gold Sequins which are also available in the Paper Sweeties shop!

I love how this card turned out and I hope you do too!
Make sure to hop around to all of the Paper Sweeties designer's blogs and see what they made for the January look back inspiration! Don't forget to check back tomorrow and on the 16th for more Paper Sweeties inspiration!

Sprinkled with Happiness

This is my first post for 2021 for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers so Happy New Year and welcome to my blog! Today I have a fun card for you using my favorite color cardstock. I just love using kraft cardstock and today I did some fun stenciling with a large polka dot stencil!

Here is my caffeinated card for today:

For this card I used a slimline card base using Papertrey Ink Raspberry Fizz Cardstock cut to 8 1/2" x 7" and scored at 3 1/2". The next layer was cut using the largest die in the
Kat Scrappiness Fancy Stitched Scalloped Slimline Dies out of Papertrey Ink Kraft Cardstock.

Now it was time to have fun with stencils. I used the Kraft Cardstock one more time to cut a smaller panel than the slimline one and I took the Trinity Stamps Lots of Dots Slimline Stencil and some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink and blended some fun dots with my blender brush. It came out so perfect, it reminded me of patterned paper.

The cute coffee mug is from the MFT Stamps LLD Hot Cocoa Cups Die-Namics and the sweet little donut is from the My Creative Time We're Better Together set (now retired). I added some sparkly Stickles to the heart on the mug and the donut sprinkles.

The sentiment from the My Creative Time We're Better Together set was stamped onto a kraft panel cut using the smallest die from the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Rectangle Dies and popped up on foam tape over a piece of Raspberry Fizz card stock to match the card base.

For the finishing touch I added some beautiful Kat Scrappiness Sparkling Clear Jewels around my card for some pretty bling and shine!

I just love the color combination on this card and the cute little mug and donut! I hope you enjoyed my card today and I hope your day is Sprinkled with Happiness!

May 2021 bring you lots of Happiness as well!

Have a great day, I already am!
