Today I'm sharing my first card as a Coffee Loving Cardmaker design team member and I've used some super cute products from Paper Sweeties!

Paper Sweeties is a returning Super Sponsor to the hop and they will be giving away a gift certificate to their shop as a prize!
Paper Sweeties also has a special sale going on this month for their dolls and outfits:

I wanted my card to have a happy and bright background so I started by stenciling some clouds and a grassy hill onto some Bristol Smooth card stock. I matted the stenciled panel on to some pretty Doodlebug patterned paper.

For the focus of my card I used the adorable Madison doll stamp and she is dressed up for summer with her pedal pushers, adorable bonnet and cute flip flops! Her outfit is from the Aloha stamp set and is stamped on some super cute Doodlebug patterned paper! Her super sized iced coffee cup is from the Coffee, Yes Please stamp set and matching Sweet Cuts! I just love how everything coordinates in the plaid pattern. My sentiment is from the Sweet Mini set called Life Begins After Coffee.

I just love how this card came together.  It has a warm summery feel and it just makes me happy!

Terrier Love

Welcome to my blog, today I have a card to share with you using the recently released Caffeinated Terrier from The Rabbit Hole Designs.  Here's a look at this adorable stamp set:

This little guy really loves his coffee! I thought it would be fun to color him with my Copic markers and sit him up on a doggy bone die cut.  It was the perfect place to stamp my sentiment.
The truth is I can't take any credit for that idea..... my 14 year old son Matthew happened to be walking by when I was making this card and it was his suggestion to use a dog bone shape on the card.  I instantly LOVED the idea and I think it was the PERFECT addition to this coffee loving terrier card! The paw print embossed background went so well with the theme and really pulled the card together!

I found the perfect frame to display this card on and take a picture with:

I hope this coffee loving Terrier puts a little smile on your face today.
Make sure to visit The Rabbit Hole Design's shop and take a look around. You'll find a lot more caffeinated critters to make you smile, I guarantee it!

I used one of the Sweeties Girls Emma on my card and I dressed her
in an outfit from the I'm So Proud of You stamp set.
The World's Greatest Teacher sentiment and pencil are
also from that same set.
I used the For You tag stamp for the sentiment.
To make the bow for Emma's hair I used the Happy Fall Y'all stamp set.

Paper Sweeties May 2020 Look Back Inspiration Day #1

Welcome back to my blog crafty friends!

My sweet Mermaid card today features 3 stamp sets
with matching dies! They are:
Emma with matching Sweet Cuts Emma.
and
Sea You Soon with matching dies called Sea You Soon Sweet Cuts.

Here is a look at these 3 stamp sets and their matching dies.

These sea themed stamp sets have the sweetest images with dies to match.
The Sea You Soon set has 2 different fish, 1 octopus, 1 clam, 1 seahorse and 1 crab.
There are so many different ways to color them and the matching dies make cutting them
out a breeze!  The Mermaid Wishes stamp set has the cutest mermaid tail and swim suit
top and it fits perfectly on to any of the Sweeties Girls.

I really had fun coloring up all of the fish and friends from the Sea You Soon stamp set
with my Copic Markers and I just love how Emma looks in that sweet mermaid tail from

Coffee Break

Hello and welcome to Lisa's ICU! It's my day on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog and I have a real treat for you! Trinity stamps recently released the most adorable little tea themed bunny stamp! It's called Dirtea Bunny and the scruffy bunny in the set is holding a mini mug that can be stamped with the most adorable sentiments. The matching die is called the Dirtea Bunny die set and it actually cuts out the bunny's hands so he can hold the mug.
Here is a picture of the stamp set and matching die:

Isn't he just the cutest!!  I started out by die cutting a mug shaped card using the Trinity
Coffee Mug Card die set in cream colored card stock. I wanted to decorate the mug so I used the Coffee Bean Background Stencil from Trinity and some Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Ink over top.  I just love the look of the two toned beans! The stencil comes with two 6x6 stencils and each stencil has one half of the bean. I used Gathered Twigs on both stencils but with a lighter hand on half the bean to give each bean a two tone look.

The sweet little "coffee break" sentiment under the cup came from the awesome
Honey Bee stamp set titled Perfect Blend.
That stamp set has any sentiment you can think of that is coffee related.
What a fun card to make! Here's a closer look at that sweet little "Dirtea Bunny":

I really love the cute little feature that the die cuts out just the arms.
Thank you so much for joining me today!

Sushi for Dad

Hello and welcome back to my blog!
Now that Mother's Day 2020 is in the books it's time to prepare for Father's Day and at
Kat Scrappiness there is plenty of stamps and dies to help you out with that! Today I am up on the Kat Scrappiness blog with this sushi themed card and I used quite a few products from the shop.
I wanted to make a shaker card using the Condensed Lowercase Alpha dies and spell out the word "dad". Since my dad loves sushi, I thought it would be fun to use the Wok On stamp set  and
Sushi Sprinkles for my shaker card. The cute little rolls looked adorable on the top and bottom of the word dad, especially with 2 little dollops of ginger! I also outlined the letters with a white gel pen to make them stand out just a bit more.

This card was a lot of fun to make and I love the look of the letters holding the shaker bits.
I also love that you can have any theme you want for shaker bits. Kat Scrappiness carries so many different sprinkles and sequins you can literally make any theme card into a shaker! There is food themed sprinkles, animal themed sprinkles, floral themed sequins and so much more! If you haven't ever looked through them all you really should!

Here is one more picture showing my card and all of the products I used:

Thank you so much for joining me today!

Free Hugs

Hello and welcome to my blog!
This month i-crafter released a really creative cactus die set called The Mini Succulent Terrarium.
This set includes four different types of succulents with a little added dimension.  With the addition of the Geometric Dome you can create the most adorable 3-D projects.

For my card today I chose to make a square card with a brick wall stenciled background.  I thought it would be the perfect backdrop for my mini terrarium. I used the Geometric Dome to make a mini shaker with a cactus from The Mini Succulent Terrarium dies and some pretty little gold stars inside. I finished off my card with a sentiment that I made using the Carly Alphabet. I love this alphabet because it is so versatile and can fit any style card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
You can also find lots more projects at the
i-crafter Fan Club on Facebook!

Have a great day, I already am!

You're a Star Shaker Card

I'm shakin' it up today on my blog!
Kat Scrappiness has the most awesome shaker kits and they are super easy to use!
For my card today I used the Star/Splat Shaker Dimension Set and I filled it with some Party Confetti Sprinkles and some Sparkling Clear Jewels. There are lots of shaker kits available in the shop, here is a list of some of the newer ones:

Here is a look at the Shaker Kit, Sprinkles and Jewels on my card:

This card was a lot of fun to make and super easy!
I'll walk you through the steps involved in putting it together.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I started with a kraft card base and I decided to make a smaller card than usual so that the shaker would be the main focus on the card. My card measures 3 1/2" x 10" and is scored at the 5" mark so my completed card is 3 1/2" x 5".

Step 1 - Adhere shaker foam base (included in kit) to front of card using
Nuvo Deluxe adhesive and give it a minute or two to dry.

Step 2 - NOW COMES THE FUN PART! Add your shaker bits into the well created by the foam. You can choose whatever you want and lucky for you Kat has a TON of sprinkles, sequins, confetti and other fun bits to make your shaker card SHAKE! I chose the Party Confetti Sprinkles and Sparkling Clear Jewels for my card. Make sure you don't add too much so you'll be able to shake those bits!

Step 3 - Prepare die cut top frame. I traced the die cut star frame in the kit on to patterned paper and cut it out. I used a piece of patterned paper from the Honey Bee Over the Rainbow paper pack. If you don't want to fussy cut your shape you could paint the frame or use markers on it or even do some heat embossing like I did on this card → Diamond Shaker Card.

Step 4 - Once your frame looks the way you want it to you can glue the acetate sheet included in the kit to the back of the frame. Now glue your frame to your foam base.  I used Nuvo Deluxe adhesive and it worked perfectly.

That's it! 4 EASY steps to a super cute shaker card!

You can decorate the rest of the card however you want but the shaker portion is quick and easy.  I used the Lawn Fawn Lucky Stars stamp set and heat embossed the sentiment on to black paper using a VersaMark Clear Embossing Pad and some Ranger Super Fine White embossing powder. Since I was using white embossing powder on black paper I made sure to prep my paper with the Inkadinkado Embossing Magic Pad first so I would only have powder melting on my stamped words. I also did some extra accents on my card using a White Gelly Roll Pen size 10. I also die cut 2 small stars from the Lawn Fawn Puffy Star Stackables  out of black paper and made white dash lines with my Gelly Roll pen to decorate the large star.

To clean my stamps I always use the Lawn Fawn Stamp Shammy and I store it in the Lawn Fawn Stamp Shammy Case so it's contained and ready to go.

Here's another look at the card with some of the supplies I used:

This card was a blast to make and shaker cards are my all time favorite cards to make!
Thanks so much for joining me today, head over to Kat Scrappiness and check out all of the amazing shaker kits and embellishments to fill them with!

Out of Work Dragon

Welcome to my blog, today I have a card to share with you using the recently released Broken Glass stencil from The Rabbit Hole Designs.  I paired the stencil with the previously released
Caffeinated Dragon. Here's a look at these 2 fun products:

I actually made the stenciled background for another card but decided against using it when I changed color schemes.  I don't throw away backgrounds like this in case I want to use them for another card and that's exactly what happened here.  The same goes for my colored images.  I had this dragon all colored and cut for a previous card that I didn't wind up using.  When I went through my colored images I found this guy all colored in yellow and purple and I knew he was meant for this background.  Disclaimer: These are not my go to colors but it sure is fun to color outside the box every now and then! Even though he looks sick in my eyes I feel like he reflects a little bit of what we are all feeling right now.  Luckily I am not out of work right now but my heart absolutely breaks for those who are! The world is upside down and some days my head is too.

I hope this sad/tired/out of work Dragon puts a little smile on your face today.
Make sure to visit The Rabbit Hole Design's shop and take a look around. You'll find a lot more caffeinated critters to make you smile, I guarantee it!
You can also find The Rabbit Hole products at Simon Says Stamp!
