Caffeinated Personality

Good morning and welcome back to Lisa's ICU! The ICU is where I post my monthly Coffee Loving Cardmaker's projects and where I infuse caffeine in your veins via IV!
Just kidding but the image in my head is SOOOOO FUNNY!!

Anyway on to my card.  Today's card makes good use of some GORGEOUS patterned paper from Gracielle Designs. The patterned paper on my card is from a digital download and was made into a physical paper pack.  It is called Coffee Lovers Digital Pack and has 13 high quality 12"x12" printable patterned papers. I ordered the physical paper pack when it was available at Unity Stamps but it is no longer available.  Of course being the paper hoarder that I am, I had to order 2 packs.  I am seriously in LOVE with ALL the patterns in the pack.  I thought it would be fun to make the paper the main focus of my card since it is so full of color and personality!

For the large letter "C" on the front of the card I used the Mega Alphabet C die from Altenew. I grabbed up the whole alphabet during the holidays when they were on sale.  I love the large size of these letters and I wanted it to pop up off the card so I cut it out of the patterned paper and popped it up on foam and set it back in the negative space.
This picture shows off the dimension in the letter C backed by foam.

To finish off my card I used one of the snarky coffee sentiments from The Rabbit Hole Designs stamp set called Perfectly Blended. I just love how the words pop when you heat emboss them in white on dark paper.

When you have such gorgeous patterned paper to start with, the rest of the card just falls into place!
Thanks for stopping by today for your caffeine fix!
Have a caffeinated day, I already am!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of the Fall/Winter 2019 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
Are you hopping along to see all of the wonderful creations?
That's my plan today! Today I am using a gorgeous image from Super Sponsor
Gracielle Designs for my card. It is called Stay Strong and can really be colored
to fit any holiday or theme. Gracielle's images are gorgeous and they really
lend themselves to beautiful watercoloring.
I used my Zig Clean ColorMarkers to color up this beauty.

I also used a die set from Super Sponsor
cut out the burlap behind the main image and the rectangle that
I stamped the sentiment on. These dies are unique in that they leave a raised
edge on the border of the paper. It's easier to see on the sentiment panel in
person, a little more difficult in pictures. I also included lots of Kat Scrappiness
Orange Jewels around my card to give it lots of shine!

And finally for the sentiment I used another stamp set from Super Sponsor
Paper Sweeties. They are releasing a stamp set on the 14th of this month
called Truck Add-on: Occasions. This set has holiday themed images
and some wonderful sentiments including the Pumpkin Spice one on my card.

My goal is to try and make at least one card every day during the hop but
life doesn't always go as planned......... have you noticed that???

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Enjoy your day, I already am!

A Latte Love

Welcome back to my blog crafty friends.
It's my day on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog again today and I have
another card for you full of caffeinated inspiration.
Today I am using the super cute BFF Owl stamp from Picket Fence Studios.
I just love that cute little Owl with her pearls around her neck and
that sweet bow in her hair.

I recently ordered the Gracielle Designs Coffee Lovers Paper Pack from Unity Stamp Co
and I've been dying to use it.  I thought it made the perfect background for this card.
After I stamped and colored that precious owl with my Copic markers, I popped her up
on a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die cut from Kat Scrappiness.  I inked the edges of the
scalloped rectangle to really make it stand out against the patterned paper.
The sentiment is from the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kit from August 2018.
That kit is full of awesome coffee themed images and sentiments
including dies to match.
It's on sale now over at Hero Arts! It even includes a cute little die for a coffee stand!
I added a sweet sheer blue blow to give my fancy owl a little something extra.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today and I hope you'll come back again soon
to see what's brewing in Lisa's ICU!

Have a great day, I already am!
