Welcome to the Fall | Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop for 2021!

Head over to the Coffee Lovers Blog to check out all the festivities!

There are over 50 super sponsors for this hop with lots of great prizes!
Make sure you check out the blog and link up your caffeinated creations all week long.

As always a big thank you to our Head Coffee Mistress Amy Tsuruta for putting together these fabulous hops every time! She puts an awful lot of work in to them and we are always grateful!

Our fabulous logo at the top of the page was created by our very own Shanna Slater from the design team! Don't you love it!

For opening day I have a cute caffeinated card using the Mug Shots stamp set by super sponsor Catherine Pooler. That pretty little mug and sentiment are both from the stamp set.

I used the Crystal Distortion embossing folder by Simon Says Stamp for the background in kraft card stock. For the scalloped border around the card I used the Rectangle Internal Scallops dies from Super Sponsor Jaded Blossom in a pretty teal color card stock.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make sure to hop along with us all week long to get your daily dose of caffeine and craftiness!

Have a great day, I already am!

Kat Scrappiness is a Super Sponsor for the Coffee Lovers Hop again and the design team is hopping along today with some caffeinated inspiration for you!

Since Kat Scrappiness is a super sponsor, they will be giving away a $25.00 gift card to the store, PLUS a flash prize which is a surprise package of Kat Scrappiness products!

I made a slimline card for today and I think it turned out adorable!
Ok well the truth is that the Quokka is super adorable and that definitely helped!

I used 4 different Kat Scrappiness products on my card:

The base of my card was cut out of some pretty patterned paper using the largest
Zig Zag Nesting Slimline Die and I matted it on to a coral panel.

I thought it would be fun to spell out the word coffee using the Condensed Lowercase Alpha Dies and use the adorable Quokka as the letter "o".

One of the cute accessories that comes with the Everyday Quokka stamp set is that adorable little coffee cup in his hands. I cut around the outside of his hands so that he could hold his cute little coffee cup.

I printed the sub-sentiment out from my computer and matted it on the same color card stock as the base.

I finished off my card with some Sparkling Clear Jewels to make it shine!

Here's one more look at my caffeinated creation:

Sending You a Pugaccino!

Today on my blog I have another caffeinated card for the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog.
Here's the latest news from Lisa's Intensive Coffee Unit!

As some of you may know last week was the Coffee Lover's blog hop and I was lucky enough to win a gift certificate from Super Sponsor Not 2 Shabby Shop! I have been in love with the
Pup in a Cup stamp set since the first time I saw it!

How CUTE is that sweet little doggie in the coffee cup!
ðŸķ ☕️ ðŸķ ☕️ ðŸķ ☕️ ðŸķ ☕️ ðŸķ ☕️ ðŸķ ☕️

This is one of the sweetest stamp sets I've ever seen and it has so many awesome sentiments that you can pair together and they come in a really playful font! I watched several of Jamie's videos to get some inspiration on coloring up this cute pug. Jamie is a great Copic colorer and her videos are excellent to watch if you want to see real time coloring! I watched this YouTube video by Jamie to get some inspiration for coloring my pup in a cup.

Jamie has other videos that show how to color that cute puppy to look like different dog breeds such as Pugs, Boxers or Rottweilers.  Fun fact Jamie herself is the talented artist behind this adorable image! I think she did a great job!

Here is the fun card I created with this stamp set and I had so much fun making it!

There is a polka dot stamp and a half polka dot stamp in this set so you can decorate your cup as well as a cute little heart to decorate your cup with as well. Lots of the sentiments are perfectly sized to fit on the cup and they look adorable! Did you see the super cute bow in the set? It's perfectly sized to place on the Pup's head if you want to turn your doggie into girl.
It looks cute centered or off centered over the cute puppy's ear. Here's a closeup of that adorable pug with a bow in her hair. And of course I just had to glitter it up!

If you are a puppy lover or a coffee lover or just a cute stamp lover than you owe it to yourself to go  check out the Pup in a Cup stamp set in the Not 2 Shabby Shop! There's lots of crafty goodies there so you'll have lots of fun shopping!

That's it for me today, I'm so glad you stopped by to see my latest card,
I truly enjoyed sharing it with all of you!

Have a great day, I already am!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 4

It's day 4 of the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop and today I have a new card using a beautiful stamp from Super Sponsor Unity Stamps.  My card today features the elegant Flutters To Go stamp and it has 2 whimsical butterflies on a to go coffee cup. I did a little bit of watercoloring on the butterflies with my new Karin Markers and I just love how pretty they look in blues and greens! I matted the panel with another panel of embossed script writing for an elegant look.  I finished the card off with some Teal Jewels from Super Sponsor Kat Scrappiness.

Unity is offering a Coffee/Tea themed prize package that includes 12 Unity stamps and 1 paper pack!
That is a value of over $200! Wow that is an amazing prize from a very generous company!

No photo description available.

I hope you are enjoying the hop so far! I have seen some amazing cards and there's much more to come! Thanks for stopping by today!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 3

It's day 3 of the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop and today I have a card using the coffee cup and "Hello" sentiment from the mini stamp set from Super Sponsor,  Flora and Fauna called Hello Autumn

Flora and Fauna MINI HELLO AUTUMN Clear Stamps 20278 Preview Image

This set was gifted to me by my sweet friend Amy and she sent me the cutest card along with it. I love Amy's clean and simple cards and on her card she placed a sweet little bird on the coffee cup. I borrowed Amy's idea and added a parrot to my cup using the Critters in the Jungle stamp set from Lawn Fawn. The leaves and grass are from that set as well.
I couldn't resist blinging up my coffee cup to match all of the fun colors in my parrot so I used assorted jewels from Super Sponsor Kat Scrappiness in a rainbow of colors.

After I did all of my stamping and coloring I used the Neat and Tangled
Scalloped Die Set to cut the panel out. I matted that panel on a piece of pretty rainbow striped paper from Super Sponsor,  Sunny Studios Summer Splash patterned paper pack.
To finish the card I off I placed a piece of black card stock under my rainbow paper to really set off all of those beautiful summery colors!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Make sure to stop by the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop and play along. There's plenty of caffeinated inspiration to give you some great ideas!
Have a great day, I already am!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 8

Raise your hand if you need a
Cafe'-Mocha-Vodka-Valium-Latte'

Welcome to the final day of the

I have loved being a part of this fun hop as I'm sure you all have been too!
Amy has done an amazing job putting it all together and the
Super Sponsors have been incredibly generous!

I wanted to wrap up the hop with a funny card showcasing the
Caffeinated Owl from Super Sponsor, The Rabbit Hole Designs
That hilarious sentiment on the card was computer generated and cut
out with the Zig Zag Rectangle dies from Kat Scrappiness.
It's a sentiment that I have seen over the years floating around the internet
that I thought was absolutely perfect to pair with these wide
eyed caffeinated critters!
I just love the Gina Marie Coffee Stencil for backgrounds
and I thought it was the perfect detail for this card!

Here is a closeup at that crazy sentiment that just makes me laugh!
Feel free to order one at your favorite coffee shop today!

Happy Friday everyone and I'll see you back soon with some
more caffeinated craftiness here on the blog!

Enjoy your day, I already am!

tea cup is from the Healty Vibes stamp set with matching dies.
☕️🌞☕️💙☕️💚

Coffee Lover's Blog Hop Day 6

Are you enjoying the hop so far? So much inspiration and so many
Super Sponsors! Kudos to Amy for hosting such a successful hop once again!

Today I have a clean and simple card to share with you that was actually
inspired by a paper pack. I was at Hobby Lobby the other day and I
picked up a paper pack by The Paper Studio that was Christmas
themed called Have a Cozy Christmas.

When I got home and really looked through the pack I found the
most wonderful piece of paper that I fell in love with!
It had this rustic circular design that said Have a Cozy Christmas.
I immediately thought it would go great on a coffee themed card for the hop.

I included a sweet cup of coffee from an old Fiskars stamp set called Latte Love.
I didn't stamp the heart in the middle of the cup, instead I replaced it with
a holly berry stamp to make it holiday themed.
Although the holly berry image isn't that clear, I thought it
was the perfect touch to this simple cup.

For an extra cozy feel I laid out my design on a cozy sweater
embossed background.
Cable knit sweaters hold a special place in my heart because
my Mom has been knitting them for years.
Every winter she makes my Dad an Irish Fisherman's sweater
with that pattern.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
Enjoy your day, I already am!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 5

There are over 600 entries to date so it looks like everyone is
well caffeinated and getting crafty this week!

For today's project I have a tag to share with you.
I was browsing YouTube looking for inspiration and I came across
a video from last year by Nichol Spohr. She made the cutest coffee cup birthday cards
and they looked so realistic so I wanted to give it a try.
You can see her awesome video here.

She made very large birthday cards with faux foam on top but
since I wanted to make a tag I chose smaller dies and scaled the
project down a bit.

I started with the Sugar Pea Designs Coffee To Go Cup dies.
I used Bristol Smooth Cardstock so I could do some ink blending
on the cup base. I used Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso Distress Inks
and then spritzed with water for a more realistic look.
For the dome piece of the cup I sponged on a little Tumbled Glass Distress ink
to give a very slight appearance of glass.
For the foam on top I used a super cool product called a Snow Marker.
You just apply the white liquid and then blast it with your heat tool
and like magic you have faux snow (or in this case.... foam)!
How cool is that? I also loved Nichol's idea to add little Coffee Tiny Bubbles
from Honey Bee Stamps for that little extra something on the foam.

Here is a closeup of all that foam and coffee bubble goodness:

For the word "latte" on top of the cup I used the Coffee Words Sugarcuts dies
from Sugar Pea Designs cut from gold foil.
I added a red foil heart under the word because as Nichol said,
a little bit of red just pops out and I couldn't agree more!

For the base of my tag I cut out some vellum using the Stitched Duo 3 dies
from Pretty Pink Posh. I've always loved the rounded top of that die!
I took  Gathered Twigs Distress ink and sponged it over a
Gina Marie Coffee Bean Stencil to give the tag some detail.

And last but not least is my cute little heart charm hanging from the twine.
I used the same heart from the tag in red foil and I
sandwiched my twine in between two of them to look like a charm.
I just love that extra added touch!

I'm not gonna lie, this is probably my most favorite
project yet for this hop!
Thank you Nichol for the inspiration and I'll see you soon
with another entry for the Fall/Winter 2019 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Have a great day, I already am!

INTRODUCING my Pumpkin Spice Latte a la Rabbit Hole!
☕️🎃☕️🎃☕️🎃☕️🎃☕️

For day 4 of the hop I decided to use the stamp set Pumpkin Friends.
Now I know these pumpkins are not from a caffeinated critter set
but this is pumpkin season and they were the perfect addition to my
Pumpkin Spice Latte!
I used the Coffee Cup Fold It Die from The Stamps of Life and decorated
it with fun orange polka dotted paper and this super cute Rabbit Hole pumpkin!
The #pumpkineverything sentiment is from the Pumpkin Friends stamp set
and the sentiment at the top of the cup is from the Perfectly Blended stamp set.
I just love all the coffee and tea related sentiments in that set!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 3

Welcome to day 3 of the Fall/Winter 2019 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
I am having so much fun making coffee themed cards for the hop.
I have a whole basket full of coffee themed stamps and dies and the
possibilities are endless!

2 of the Super Sponsors for this hop are
and

Today I decided to use the stamp set called Latte Happy Vibes
from Your Next Stamp. The first time I saw that fun coffee cup and donut
on that skateboard I knew I had to have them! They are having so
much fun and I couldn't wait to get them on to a card!

I colored them up with my Copic markers and used the
matching dies to cut them out.
Next I took the largest die from the Kat Scrappiness Zig Zag Rectangle dies
and cut out a panel using the Your Next Stamp Crazy For Coffee
patterned paper pack.  That coffee bean pattern was perfect for this card!
I used a smaller die from the Zig Zag Rectangle dies to cut a piece of kraft
paper and pop my image up on and also
stamp my sentiment from the Latte Happy Vibes set as well.
I tilted that panel diagonally to match the fun motion of the skateboard.

Last but not least I decorated the front panel with some
Kat Scrappiness Teal Jewels!

Thank so much for stopping by today
and enjoy the rest of the hop!
I'll be back tomorrow with a card for

Have a great day, I already am!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of the Fall/Winter 2019 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
Are you hopping along to see all of the wonderful creations?
That's my plan today! Today I am using a gorgeous image from Super Sponsor
Gracielle Designs for my card. It is called Stay Strong and can really be colored
to fit any holiday or theme. Gracielle's images are gorgeous and they really
lend themselves to beautiful watercoloring.
I used my Zig Clean ColorMarkers to color up this beauty.

I also used a die set from Super Sponsor
cut out the burlap behind the main image and the rectangle that
I stamped the sentiment on. These dies are unique in that they leave a raised
edge on the border of the paper. It's easier to see on the sentiment panel in
person, a little more difficult in pictures. I also included lots of Kat Scrappiness
Orange Jewels around my card to give it lots of shine!

And finally for the sentiment I used another stamp set from Super Sponsor
Paper Sweeties. They are releasing a stamp set on the 14th of this month
called Truck Add-on: Occasions. This set has holiday themed images
and some wonderful sentiments including the Pumpkin Spice one on my card.

My goal is to try and make at least one card every day during the hop but
life doesn't always go as planned......... have you noticed that???
