Keep Calm and Drink Coffee

Welcome back to my blog! Today I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog and I have a card to share with you using a pretty little coffee mug from super sponsor Paper Sweeties!

I used the Keep Calm and Drink Coffee stamp set for the sentiment and I cut the coffee cup out of some pretty floral paper using the matching Sweet Cuts die.
I just love the soft look that a lace doily gives to any card and it added to the vintage feel of the whole card. I did some ink blending on the card base and embossed the panel with the Quilted Hearts embossing folder from Sunny Studio Stamps. To finish off the card and give it a little sparkle, I added a few beautiful Cinderella sequins from Unity Stamp Company.

Thanks for stopping by today for a sweet little cup of coffee! Remember to "Keep Calm and Drink Coffee" and everything will be ok!

Have a great day, I already am!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 3

It's day 3 of the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop and today I have a card using the coffee cup and "Hello" sentiment from the mini stamp set from Super Sponsor,  Flora and Fauna called Hello Autumn

Flora and Fauna MINI HELLO AUTUMN Clear Stamps 20278 Preview Image

This set was gifted to me by my sweet friend Amy and she sent me the cutest card along with it. I love Amy's clean and simple cards and on her card she placed a sweet little bird on the coffee cup. I borrowed Amy's idea and added a parrot to my cup using the Critters in the Jungle stamp set from Lawn Fawn. The leaves and grass are from that set as well.
I couldn't resist blinging up my coffee cup to match all of the fun colors in my parrot so I used assorted jewels from Super Sponsor Kat Scrappiness in a rainbow of colors.

After I did all of my stamping and coloring I used the Neat and Tangled
Scalloped Die Set to cut the panel out. I matted that panel on a piece of pretty rainbow striped paper from Super Sponsor,  Sunny Studios Summer Splash patterned paper pack.
To finish the card I off I placed a piece of black card stock under my rainbow paper to really set off all of those beautiful summery colors!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Make sure to stop by the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop and play along. There's plenty of caffeinated inspiration to give you some great ideas!

Monkey Shaker Tag

Good morning and welcome back to my blog friends!
I am up on the Kat Scrappiness blog today and I have an adorable
Monkey Shaker Tag to share with you!
I am having so much fun using all of the new sprinkles and sequins
in the shop, there are so many to choose from!

I just love making shaker cards and tags! For my project today
to create an adorable tag. I started by cutting
a tag from the Stitched Scalloped Nesting Tags in black and white
striped paper and a second one in white for the base of the tag.
Next I took one of the smaller heart dies from the Layered Nesting Heart Dies
and die cut a heart shape from the bottom right side of the tag so I could fill
it with my shaker bits. Before I continued with the shaker element I stamped the
word "monkey" in Versafine Clair Glamorous Ink at the bottom of the tag
next to the heart cut out. The next step was to cover the back of the heart shape
up with some Lawn Fawn Acetate and then build up the area around the heart with
some Brutus Monroe foam tape. After I created the well for my shaker bits I filled it
with the red hearts from the Heart Sprinkles mix and some sparkly
3 mm Mirrored Solid Heart Confetti.  I just love adding some sparkle to any shaker
card or tag! I added the second tag I cut out in white to the back of my shaker to enclose
all of the shaker bits.  The adorable monkey image was stamped in Gina K Amalgam ink
and colored with my Copic markers. After I colored him I die cut him out with the
I popped him up on some more Brutus Monroe foam tape for some dimension.
For the sentiment I used Brutus Monroe Alabaster embossing powder to
heat emboss the sentiment from the Sunny Studios Love Monkey stamp set
on to some black card stock and pop it up on an angle at the top of the tag.
The finished touch was to thread some red and white bakers twine through
the hole in the top of the tag.

I just love how this cute tag came out and I love shaking it even more!
Here is a another pic with a few of the Kat Scrappiness supplies used on my tag.

I hope you'll give shaker tags a try! They are so much fun to make and even more
fun to shake! You will feel like a chef in the kitchen picking out the perfect mix
of shaker bits to fill your card or tag!

National Iced Tea Day with SugarPea Designs

Happy National Iced Tea Day!

Yes that's right, June 10th is National Iced Tea Day and the Coffee Loving Cardmakers are getting together with SugarPea Designs for a fun Collaboration Blog Hop!
Today the design team will be featuring The Pucker Up stamp set and the
Coffee To Go dies from SugarPea Designs! I have 2 fun cards and 1 sweet tag to share with you!

For my first card I started with a white A2 card base and I took a sheet of designer paper from the Sunny Studios Summer Splash paper pad and die cut it with the largest Wonky Wavy Stitched Rectangle die from Kat Scrappiness. The next layer of the card was cut with paper from the same pad and the next smaller rectangle die. For the kraft panel across the front I ran the card stock through a Fiskars paper crimper for a corrugated look to add some texture. The images from the Pucker Up stamp set were watercolored with my Zig markers and cut out using the matching dies and popped up on the kraft panel. I just love all the bright colors on this card and the adorable faces on the stamped images! The sentiment from the set was stamped in black ink at the bottom of the yellow striped panel.

For my second card I started with a white A2 card base again but this time I used some
Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink to do some quick and easy ink blending
all over the card.  Next I took a square piece of kraft card stock and did some repeat stamping with a few of the adorable images from the Pucker Up stamp set making sure to stamp some off the page for a more organic look.  The 3 colored images from the stamp set were watercolored with my Zig markers and die cut with the matching dies and popped up on the corner of the kraft panel. The sentiment from the set was stamped in black ink at the bottom.

For my final project for today's hop I created this fun tag using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Dress Up tag as my base and some fun Lawn Fawn patterned paper! I am really loving the color combo of the yellow and kraft for the Iced Tea theme!
The adorable to go cup was cut using the Coffee To Go Cup dies from SugarPea Designs
Once again I used the super cute images and sentiment from the
Pucker Up stamp set to dress up my Coffee To Go Iced Tea cup.
I finished it off with some yellow and white twine and a jute twine bow.

Angie's Digital Stamps April Challenge

Hello again crafty friends!
It's time for another fun challenge over at Angies Digital stamps

The design team has created some wonderful projects
for this month's challenge.
The theme for April is Anything Goes, with an optional Easter twist.
It is challenge #30 and it runs from 4/7/19 - 4/26/19.

Here is my card for this month:

This month I chose to design an Easter card using Angies Easter Basket
digital image and color it with my Copic markers. After I colored the
basket, I cut it out with my scan n cut machine.

I used the Stitched Scalloped Square Dies
from Kat Scrappiness for the background and the Happy Easter
stamp and flowers are from the Sunny Studios Chubby Bunny stamp set.

I love how this card turned out and I hope you'll all play along with us
this month at Angies!
Enjoy your day, I already am!

Bunny Spinner Card with Video

If you've never visited my blog than welcome,
and if you've been here before than welcome back!

Today I am up on the Kat Scrappiness blog
and I have a really fun
and interactive card to share with you!
I made a spinner card using the Chubby Bunny stamp set
from Sunny Studios
and the sentiment is from the Gerda Steiner
stamp set called Peeking Easter Friends.

I have a video tutorial to show you just how I made it!
It looks difficult but it's really quite easy!

I used the brand new Rectangle Zig Zag Dies dies in the shop
for the front of my card and I just love that jagged stitched edge it makes!
They are also available in circles, ovals, squares, hearts and borders.

I did some fun stenciling on the front of the card as well using
3 different colors of Distress Oxide inks.

I filmed a video to show you just how easy this card is to make.
You can view it here or on YouTube.

Here is a supply list of Kat Scrappiness products used on my card:

Happy Easter with Chubby Bunnies

Good morning and welcome to my blog!
Today I'm up on the Kat Scrappiness blog with a cute shaker card for you!
Easter is right around the corner and Sunny Studios stamps
has the most adorable stamp set called Chubby Bunny!
The new Zig Zag dies in the Kat Scrappiness store are the perfect
dies to show off these cute stamps.

I used the Rectangle Zig Zag dies to frame my adorable shaker card.
Have you seen the selection of sequins and sequin mixes available in the
store? You won't believe how many there are to choose from!
For my card I used the Mixed Flower Sprinkles and the Mirrored Star Sequins.
It's no secret that I love to make shaker cards and with the
wide assortment of shaker guts, I just can't stop!

For my card I started by blending Cracked Pistachio and Tumbled Glass
Distress Oxide inks to make a background for my card.
I sponged some Tumbled Glass over a stencil at the top and
some Cracked Pistachio over the bottom.

The next step was to cut out the panel using the 2 largest
Rectangle Zig Zag dies.  This gave me a frame and a
panel for the base of the card that matched.
I adhered some acetate to the frame and
added foam tape around the edges. I sprinkled my
base of the card and then covered them with the acetate
covered frame.

I colored the Chubby Bunny, Easter Eggs and 2 little
Chickies with my Copic markers and popped them up on to the
front of the card.

I love how this card turned out and it's like
a breath of fresh spring air with the bright colors
and fun shaker mix.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and

products in the shop, make sure to use

CAS(E) this Sketch #266

It's not very often I get almost an entire day to stamp and play but today was one of those days!  I've had the Tiny Dancers stamp set from Sunny Studios for quite some time now and haven't been able to get it inky.  I'm happy to say that today was THAT day!  Those ballerinas are so STINKIN' cute!!! When I saw the sketch this week at CAS(E) this sketch I knew that the tiny dancers would be perfect!
Here is the sketch and the card:

Oh I am in love with those cute little ballerinas!  I probably love them so much because I wasn't allowed to be one growing up.  Yup, I was the only little ballerina who was thrown out of ballet class.  We can't all be graceful 😬.... oh well.  I'll settle for coloring them now and putting them on cute cards!  I love how the little pink tutus look against the black and white polka dot paper and I love this week's sketch!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Enjoy your day, I already am!
