Happy Vibes!

Hello and welcome back to my blog!
It's my day to take over the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog again and today I have a cute little Corgi to bring you some happy vibes!

Isn't that just the cutest little puppy you've ever seen! I just love his cool shades!

The patterned background paper is from the Coffee Lovers Paper Pack from Unity Stamps and the cool sentiment is from the Latte Happy Vibes stamp set from Your Next Stamp.

My cute little Corgi is actually a vinyl sticker from my daughter's Etsy shop The Paper Garden Gals. These vinyl stickers can be used on cards, cups, computers, or anything you want to decorate. There are lots more coffee themed vinyl stickers in her shop to check out as well!

Thanks for stopping by today and checking out what's brewin' in Lisa's ICU!

Coffee Chick

Welcome back to my blog! Today I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog and I have a card to share with you using a digital stamp that I won in the Coffee Lover's Hop from super sponsor

My shaker card uses the Coffee Chick digital stamp from Gerda Steiner and I will be sharing some of the other digital stamps I acquired thanks to my gift certificate from the Coffee Lovers hop.
The Diamond Wire frame die on the front is from Kat Scrappiness as are the 2 different sprinkle mixes I used inside the shaker. There are Red Hearts and Sunny Side Up sprinkles.

I really love that big ol chicken holding that glass of coffee.  The finishing touch was to stamp a sentiment from the Your Next Stamp set Coffee Chick.

Here is one more pic with all of the supplies used picture with the completed card.

Ok everyone go grab your coffee chick and grab some joe together!

Have a great day, I already am!

Love You More Than Coffee

Hello crafty peeps! Today I have another caffeine inspired card for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog and it's a real cutie! Who can resist a hamster in a coffee cup?

Oh my gosh, isn't that just the cutest little hamster? I used the Hammie Coffee and Tea stamp set from Your Next Stamp and the sentiment is from an older Hero Arts stamp set.

I started with a piece of smooth card stock and stamped a script background in emboss resist ink then sprinkled white embossing powder over top and heated it up until it was smooth and melted.
I then took 3 different distress oxide inks and did some ink blending over the embossed words.
I love the look of the embossing showing through the ink blending! I love the 3 colors together, they blend so well.  I used Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio and Mermaid Lagoon.
My little Hamster was colored with Copic markers and then I cut him out with my Scan n Cut.
I used the largest Postage Stamp Edge die from Kat Scrappiness and made a frame out of it by placing the second largest Embossed Edge Rectangle die inside of it before I cut it out. That gave me the perfect frame.  I adhered the kraft frame to the front of the card and placed my hamster and sentiment inside the frame on foam tape.

I love the pretty ink blending mixed with that Oh So Cute Hamster!
Thanks for stopping by today, stay safe and stay home everyone!

Enjoy your day, I already am!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 3

Welcome to day 3 of the Fall/Winter 2019 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
I am having so much fun making coffee themed cards for the hop.
I have a whole basket full of coffee themed stamps and dies and the
possibilities are endless!

2 of the Super Sponsors for this hop are
and

Today I decided to use the stamp set called Latte Happy Vibes
from Your Next Stamp. The first time I saw that fun coffee cup and donut
on that skateboard I knew I had to have them! They are having so
much fun and I couldn't wait to get them on to a card!

I colored them up with my Copic markers and used the
matching dies to cut them out.
Next I took the largest die from the Kat Scrappiness Zig Zag Rectangle dies
and cut out a panel using the Your Next Stamp Crazy For Coffee
patterned paper pack.  That coffee bean pattern was perfect for this card!
I used a smaller die from the Zig Zag Rectangle dies to cut a piece of kraft
paper and pop my image up on and also
stamp my sentiment from the Latte Happy Vibes set as well.
I tilted that panel diagonally to match the fun motion of the skateboard.

Last but not least I decorated the front panel with some
Kat Scrappiness Teal Jewels!

Thank so much for stopping by today
and enjoy the rest of the hop!
I'll be back tomorrow with a card for

Have a great day, I already am!

EGG-stra Awesome Tag

Welcome back to the blog Kat Scrappiness fans!
Today I have a quick and easy tag for you using the adorable
little chick from the Crafter's Essentials Easter Dies.
To start with I blended 3 different ink colors on to some
card stock and cut out a Stitched Scalloped Nesting Tag Die for the base.
I used a sentiment from the So Egg-citing stamp set from
Your Next Stamp and I stamped it in Lawn Fawn Forget Me Not ink.
After the stamping was done I embossed the tag with a
polka dot embossing folder.
Next I did some ink blending with Squeezed Lemonade
Distress Ink on white card stock and die cut the chick out of it.
I applied some Spiced Marmalade ink to the beak and feet of the
baby chick. I also cut out the cracked egg from white card stock
and glued the top half over the chick's head.
I applied foam tape to the chick and adhered it to the bottom of
the tag on top of the bottom of the egg.
Every pretty tag needs some pretty ribbon so I made a bow
out of 3 different color ribbons to match the tag
and finished it off with a big blue button.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed
my quick and easy tag!

Make sure to join the April card challenge this month, the
theme is Pastels and you can find the challenge by clicking this link:

CAS(E) This Sketch 294 with Groot

I have not played along with CAS(E) this sketch in a while so I stopped in to take a look at this week's sketch and realized how much I missed it. I love the inspiration I get from a sketch, it's like taking the guesswork out of a card when your mojo is on vacation!
My daughter Taylor is a planner girl and she recently found this adorable clipart of
Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy for her planner and
I immediately thought how cute he would look on a card.
I knew he would be perfect to sit along side the sentiment of sketch #294!

Since Groot's signature tag line is "I am Groot" I thought it would be funny to
make my sentiment "I am Cute" and let's face it he is CUTE!!!!
I used an older "Your Next Stamp" alphabet set to stamp the sentiment.
It was the perfect simple font for the card and I used Mowed Lawn
distress ink since it matched the leaf theme.
My wood grain embossing folder was the perfect touch for the bottom panel of the
card to go with the theme and give it some texture.
A few leaves growing out of Groot from an old Stampin' Up
punch and my card was finished!

I really had fun making this card! Thanks for stopping by to take a peak!
Please consider leaving me a note if you stop by and give me your blog
name so I can visit you too!

Now go get crafty, I already did!

So Egg-Cited for Easter

Hi crafty friends!  I'm up on the Kat Scrappiness blog today to bring you another fun card using an awesome stamp and die set from "Your Next Stamp".  This stamp set is called "So Egg-citing" and there are cute matching dies.  It features the most adorable egg carton to put some little chickies and eggs into.  Since Easter is on Sunday I thought it would be fun to make a cute Easter card featuring that cute carton with some sweet baby chicks inside.
I started out by stamping all the images I wanted to color and place on my card.  I colored them with my Zig Clean Color Brush Markers and blended them out for a watercolor look.

After the coloring was done I used the matching dies to cut out my cute little chickies and eggs.

Next I stamped the egg carton image with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder so that I could watercolor it with my Pearl Colors by Kuretake Gansai Tambi.  This technique seals the black ink preventing it from smearing when it gets wet. I just love the pearlescent shine of these paints.

Next I worked on the sentiment.  For this card I used one of my favorite techniques for die cutting letters.  I love to make a beautiful watercolor backgrounds and die cut letters out of it.  It gives them a very random and pretty pattern.  The Kat Scrappiness Condensed Lowercase Alphabet Dies were perfect for this technique.  I used my Pearl Colors by Kuretake Gansai Tambi again and I took some watercolor paper and randomly painted 4 different pastel colors.  The result was a very pretty pastel background from which I cut my letters out for a very bold sentiment.
Next I cut out a piece of cardstock with the Kat Scrappiness Rectangle Stitched Dies and ran the panel through my die cut machine with a wood grain embossing folder for some dimension and texture.  I adhered the wood grain panel to a standard card base and glued my letters down.  After gluing my chicks and eggs down inside the egg carton I popped it up over the letters with some foam tape for added dimension.  I added a few more chicks and eggs to the letters for some fun and finished the card off with some Kat Scrappiness Rainbow Splash and Barbie sequins. And of course no card is complete without some sparkle and shimmer so I took my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Marker to add some glittery goodness to my chicks and eggs.

I hope you enjoyed today's card and I hope you'll try cutting some alphabet dies from some handmade watercolor or painted cardstock!  All supplies linked below.  Check out KatScrappiness.com to find the supplies used to make this card and lots of other crafty goodness!  Don't forget to use code Lisa10 to save 10% off of your total purchase at checkout!
