Good morning everyone! Here we are at week #24 in The Shabby Tea Room and this week Melissa is our host and she has inspired us with this gorgeous photo:
And keeping with the theme, she has challenged us to use a little bit of metal in our projects!
I love using the pop-top's from soda cans on ribbon so I thought this would be the perfect card to use it on and I had the "precious" metal word strip in my stash for a while now just waiting for the
perfect opportunity to be used. I also handmade the rose on the bottom of my card using a simple tutorial that Debbie did for KL Stampin N Scrappin for spiral roses. You can check it out here.
I had a lot of fun with this card thanks to our sponsor this week, "Some Odd Girl" digi stamps!
The design team was supplied with some super adorable images from Some Odd Girl and I chose the
"Fairy Mae" image for my card. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS LITTLE GAL!
Kristy, owner/designer of Some Odd Girl Digital Stamps, is thrilled to be sponsoring The Shabby Tea Room! Kristy has offerd three digital images of the winner's choice from her on-line shop (a $9 value)! Some Odd Girl was launched in January 2010 and they are proudly bringing some fun and quirky images to the paper crafting market! The idea to start Some Odd Girl was inspired by two great friends! They took one of Kristy's pencil drawings, made it into a rubber stamp and that act of generosity spiraled into what you see today! Kristy is ALSO offering The Shabby Tea Room followers a 30% discount on any purchases from her shop during her week of sponsorship here in the Tea Room.
So head on over to Kristy's shop and take advantage of this great offer! I know you will fall in love with all of her super adorable images like I did!
Make sure you check out what the other girls in the Tea Room have designed for you this week!
