Paper Sweeties June 2021 New Release Sneak Peeks!

Welcome to the Paper Sweeties June 2021 New Release Sneak Peeks!

Today I'm showcasing the brand new stamp sets and matching dies from Paper Sweeties called

"Keep Calm and Gnome On"

and

"Keep Calm and Gnome On Sweet Cuts"

This set features the most adorable gnome car that you can customize by coloring or paper piecing with some fun paper!

These stamp sets pair so well with the Photoplay 6x6 patterned paper pack and Cardstock Ephemera.

For today's card I used one of the adorable Gnomes from last month's Build a Gnome stamp and die set. The sentiment is from the new Keep Calm and Gnome On set.

Summer Quokka Birthday Card

I'm up on the Kat Scrappiness blog today with this fun Quokka Birthday card! He's all ready for summer with his Hawaiian shirt and surfboard! I created the fun camo background strip with a unique layered stencil from A Colorful Life Designs!

That super cute little Australian Quokka is from the Summer Quokka stamp set and comes with 3 summer themed Quokkas and some cute beach themed accessory stamps!

I created the strip of camouflage using a unique stencil from A Colorful Life Designs!

The Layered Camouflage stencil comes with 3 different layers of a camouflage design that lets you customize your background any way you want. I went with the traditional camo colors on my card but I think it would look good in blues and grays as well. Here is a look at the 3 stencils that make up this set. They are labeled top, middle and base layer and they are super easy to line up too!

I just love using the Quokkas on my cards, they are so cute and I love how you can customize his shirt and surf board with any patterns and colors you want!

Happy Father's Day

Hello all! I'm up on the Kat Scrappiness blog today with a mini slimline card featuring lots of new goodies from the new release! Since Father's Day is coming up soon I decided to make a card using some of the fun beachy elements from the new Summer Fun Essentials Dies. I'm in love with those cute flip flops and for this card I cut them out of burlap to give them a more rugged masculine look. I also used distressed a couple of starfish to match the theme!

I also used the brand new Lumber Yard Slimline Paper Pad for the first layer on my card base and then I cut another layer out of cream colored card stock using the largest die from the

And now for the star of the show, the Happy Father's Day Word Dies With Shadow! I just love how the addition of the shadow layer behind the words really makes the sentiment stand out! I used the Lumber Yard Slimline Paper Pad for the shadow layer behind the card. To add some extra interest to the card I added some Espresso Pearl Mix because why not?!

Coffee With My Dad!

Hello Coffee Lovers!
I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog today and since Father's Day is coming up this month, I thought it would be fun to make a caffeinated card for my dad!

We love to go to Starbucks together for some coffee and a chat. His favorite hot drink was always an Americano with Breve Foam but recently he changed his order. On our last visit I noticed a drink on the menu that looked delicious called a Shaken Iced Espresso and I was right..... it was DELISH! My dad was inspired to try a cold drink like mine for a change so he ordered a Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino and he was immediately hooked! It's nice to hang out having our favorite caffeinated beverages and talk about life!

The new release at Super Sponsor Kat Scrappiness has the perfect Father's Day die and it is perfect for a slimline sized card!

I combined the Layered Coffee Cup Die and the Happy Father's Day Word Die with Shadow

for this slimline card.

The base layer of the card was cut out of some patterned paper using the largest die from the

Zig Zag Nesting Slimline Dies and I added some Mocha Pearl Mix for some extra embellishments because why not?

I hope my dad likes his card, I certainly enjoyed making it and I look forward to our next Starbucks visit so we can sip and chat!

You Warm My Heart

Hello Crafty Caffeinated friends! It's another day up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's blog and today's card will warm your heart..... literally!

Today's card features a trio of darling little coffee to go cups and a sweet little heart on each koozie!

One of my favorite coffee cup dies is from a company that is no longer in business. Top Dog Dies made this adorable little coffee to go cup die and I just love the little scalloped koozie in this set. It's just so dainty! I especially love the little heart that goes in the middle and I covered the hearts in sparkly Star Dust Stickles for some extra bling!

The sentiment on the card is from the Honey Bee Perfect Blend stamp set. I cut the sentiment into 2 parts so I could split it up on the card. I placed my cups on a panel that I cut out using the Wonky Stitched Mini Slimline die from Kat Scrappiness.

Here a tag I made for the last day of the May 2021 release using the Photoplay matching

paper, ephemera and stickers.

I also used the Sweet Cuts For You tag die for this project. I cut out 2 different patterns from the Photoplay Crafting With My Gnomies paper pad to layer on top of each other. I topped off my tags with some yummy Watermelon Seam Binding.
