over at the Happy Little Stampers blog!
This month the theme is anything goes with an optional "Bright" twist.
Here is my card for this month.
After I made my card I realized that the twist this month was Bright.
Since I loved my card so much I decided to use it anyway.
It's not very bright but I do love the muted colors.

I used some gorgeous watercolor flowers from a fabulous
website called Angie Makes.
She has some free clipart as well as some beautiful watercolor
clipart for sale. I printed that beautiful flower out and cut it out
with my scan and cut.
I layered it on to some pretty gingham paper from Papertrey Ink
and a Stitched Hex Tag die from Reverse Confetti.
The Thank You word die is from Heidi Swapp.
Watercoloring is one of my loves but I'm not always very good
at it. Using the pre-painted flowers is a fun way to still get that
whimsical look on your cards!
Come join us for the Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge this month!
We want to see your watercolor projects.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you get some free crafty time today!
Have a great day, I already am!

Such a pretty card! I think your gold sentiment can count towards bright. ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and such a feminine card. A very interesting combination of different structures and patterns. And the flower is simply stunning. I understand exactly that you love this card.
