Get Creative Challenge - #81

Hi everyone!  I'm back today with another project for

Get Creative Challenges!

The challenge for June for the pink team is Anything Goes
with an optional twist "your favorite color combo"

and goes from 6/3 - 6/30.

I was so excited to work with the fun Party Gnomes image this month!
Here is my birthday card using my favorite color combo
pink and teal!

I colored those fun party gnomes with some of my favorite
Copic marker colors and popped them up on a fun polka dotted
background. The sentiment is from a Queen and Co. 
word die set. My polka dotted panel is an older Papertrey Ink
patterned paper and I cut it out using the 
Wonky Wavy Stitched Rectangle die from Kat Scrappiness.

I love how this card came out, and I just LOVE those cute gnomes!

Get Creative Challenge - #79

Hi everyone!  I'm back today with another project for

Get Creative Challenges!

The challenge for April for the pink team is Anything Goes 

and goes from 4/1 - 4/30. 
Thank you to the Etsy shop All Dressed Up for sponsoring the challenge this month! 
They have some adorable digital art, make sure to check them out!
I was so excited to work with the sweet Butterfly Bunny image this month.

I colored that sweet bunny with my copic markers and 

cut her out with my scan n cut machine.

I used a Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die from Kat Scrappiness

to layer on to the base of my card and I sponged some Spun Sugar

Distress Oxide ink all over the center of that panel.

Next I took the cute cloud die from Mama Elephant

and inked the edges with some Tumbled Glass Distress ink.

I also added some sparkly Stickles all around the edge of

the cloud and in a few random spots around the card.

After I added the Mama Elephant sentmient with some Papertrey Ink, 

Weathervane Ink, I popped up the bunny and cloud on to 

some foam tape and my card was done.

I love how this card came out, it's so soft and sweet!

Hi everyone!  I'm back today with another project for

This is the first challenge in 2019 for the Get Creative blog
and for the new year Angie has created new badges for her challenges.

I'm a big kraft color fan!

The challenge for February for the pink team is Anything Goes 

with an optional twist to use lots of red and goes from 2/4 - 2/28.

I had the pleasure of working with the adorable Cat with balloons!

I colored my cute kitty with my Copic markers to match my own little

kitty! Her name is Ginger and she's such a love!

I colored the balloons in a rainbow of colors with my Copics as well.

I thought that cute cat would look good in a sea of balloons

so I used a balloon stencil by Echo Park and some white ink for the 

background on kraft paper. In keeping with the theme of using

lots of red, I chose a red card base.  It really makes the card pop!

My Happy Birthday sentiment is from an older Close To My Heart stamp set.

I love how this card came out, it's so colorful and fun!

Get Creative Challenge - #75

Hi everyone!  I'm back today with another project for

Get Creative Challenges!

The challenge for November for the pink team is Anything But A Card and goes from 11/5 - 11/30. Thank you to Paper Nest Dolls for sponsoring the challenge this month! They really have some of the cutest digi dolls around! Since the theme is Anything But A Card this month I chose to make a tag and I used the adorable Bee Happy Emma doll.

I colored her with copic markers and gave her lots of stickles sparkle and shine! The sentiment, the gorgeous black ribbon and the gold sequins are all from Paper Sweeties!

I used Wild Honey distress ink with a Papertrey Ink stencil to give the background a honeycomb look and I added some hexagon dies from My Favorite Things for some extra added detail. 

Kat Scrappiness has all of the Distress Oxide Inks on sale so head over there and check them out! 

They also have a wide variety of embossing powders and I 

used WOW Super Fine White on my sentiment to 
make it stand out!
I'm also entering this tag in the 
Paper Nest Dolls monthly challenge and the
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.

Get Creative Challenge - #73

Hi everyone!  I'm back today with another card for
Get Creative Challenges! 

The challenge for September for the pink team has a theme of Lots of Bling and Sparkle and goes from 9/3 - 9/30. For my card I used a beautiful Eureka stamps image called "Cascading Hearts" and I did some basic copic coloring and covered the hearts with a generous layer of sparkly stickles.  I added a birthday wishes die cut from Queen and Company to add to my birthday card stash since I never have enough!
What a fun card to make!  I love pink and sparkles so this was an easy card to make.  I'm very happy with how it turned out!  I hope you'll join us this month and play along, I can't wait to see your creations!

Get Creative Challenge - #71

Hi everyone!  I'm back today with another challenge from Get Creative Challenges! 

The challenge for July for the pink team has a theme of a shaped card (no squares or rectangles) and goes from 7/2 - 7/31. For my card I used a beautiful pansy image from Eureka stamps and I watercolored it with my Zig clean color markers.  I chose to make a scalloped oval easel card using some beautiful dies from Kat Scrappiness.  The Stitched Scalloped Oval dies are so pretty and versatile for so many card projects!  Both sentiments are from the Gina K stamp set, Wreath Builder.  What a fun card to make!  I'm very happy with how it turned out!  I hope you'll join us this month and play along, I can't wait to see your creations!

Get Creative Challenge - #69

Hi everyone!  I'm so excited to be joining Angie and the rest of the talented design team 

over at the Get Creative Challenge blog.  Big thanks to Angie for asking me to join the team!

  

The Pink team is using digi images from 3 sponsors this month. Knitty Kitty, QKR Stampede and Wink Wink Ink. This is challenge #69 with a theme of Lots of Flowers.  On my card I used the adorable Poodle image from Wink Wink Ink.  I printed the darling Poodle out and die cut a Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fancy Scalloped Square around her.  I stamped the sentiment from a My Creative Time stamp set called Loyal Friends.  I used a new cardstock color from Papertrey Ink called Weathervane for the card base and finished off the card with some gray twine from Lawn Fawn. For a little pop of color I added a small red glittered heart to the sweet Poodle.
