I Miss You a Latte

I am up on the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Blog today and I'd like to welcome you to my ICU! It's so much more relaxed here than my regular ICU at work. Even though I work nights and drink a lot of coffee, I'd much rather be drinking it here and sharing cards with you guys!

Today I have a fun and fresh card to share with you featuring dies from Super Sponsor Jaded Blossom and Simon Says Stamp and a sentiment from My Creative Time.

I don't know about you but whenever I see a cute little smiley face on inanimate objects it just makes me smile too! The cute little coffee cup is from the Jaded Blossom Coffee Dies and the adorable little face is from their Fresh Faces stamp set.

Since the Heart Sprinkle Wreath has cut outs, I decided to do some ink blending on the bottom panel with Squeezed Lemonade, Worn Lipstick and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks so that a pretty little rainbow would show through to the front of the card.

I popped the adorable little coffee cup on some foam tape in the center of the wreath and I added a fun caffeinated sentiment from the My Creative Time "Not a Decaf Day" stamp set.

I hope you enjoyed taking a break in my ICU today and you got some inspiration from my adorable little smiling coffee cup!

Have a great day, I already am!

Sprinkled with Happiness

This is my first post for 2021 for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers so Happy New Year and welcome to my blog! Today I have a fun card for you using my favorite color cardstock. I just love using kraft cardstock and today I did some fun stenciling with a large polka dot stencil!

Here is my caffeinated card for today:

For this card I used a slimline card base using Papertrey Ink Raspberry Fizz Cardstock cut to 8 1/2" x 7" and scored at 3 1/2". The next layer was cut using the largest die in the
Kat Scrappiness Fancy Stitched Scalloped Slimline Dies out of Papertrey Ink Kraft Cardstock.

Now it was time to have fun with stencils. I used the Kraft Cardstock one more time to cut a smaller panel than the slimline one and I took the Trinity Stamps Lots of Dots Slimline Stencil and some Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink and blended some fun dots with my blender brush. It came out so perfect, it reminded me of patterned paper.

The cute coffee mug is from the MFT Stamps LLD Hot Cocoa Cups Die-Namics and the sweet little donut is from the My Creative Time We're Better Together set (now retired). I added some sparkly Stickles to the heart on the mug and the donut sprinkles.

The sentiment from the My Creative Time We're Better Together set was stamped onto a kraft panel cut using the smallest die from the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Rectangle Dies and popped up on foam tape over a piece of Raspberry Fizz card stock to match the card base.

For the finishing touch I added some beautiful Kat Scrappiness Sparkling Clear Jewels around my card for some pretty bling and shine!

I just love the color combination on this card and the cute little mug and donut! I hope you enjoyed my card today and I hope your day is Sprinkled with Happiness!

May 2021 bring you lots of Happiness as well!

Have a great day, I already am!

A Cup of Patience

Well is Christmas Eve 2019 and here we are Coffee Lovers!
I'm up on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog today with a cup of patience.

Let me explain why this is actually a cup of patience...

Many of you are scurrying around and getting ready to have
company over or preparing yourselves to head out to family and friends.
Either way Christmas is a holiday filled with lots and lots and lots of people!!!
You know what that means......... some you love and some...... not so much......

Some of you will need extra patience today to deal with all the
personalities you will encounter today so this card is for you!

This card just looks like just another holiday coffee card but when you pull
out the tag from inside it reveals a super funny sentiment
perfect for those of you who need just a little chuckle today...

I laughed so hard when I saw this sentiment from the Hot Coffee stamp set
from CAS-ual Fridays and I knew that it would
be the perfect stamp to use for this sometimes stressful season.

I started off with the new Coffee Gift Card Holder Die from My Creative Time
and instead of inserting a gift card I decided to add my sentiment on a tag
that you could pull out. I decorated the cup with some fun holiday
Doodlebug Christmas Town patterned paper to match the poinsettia flowers.
I just love these beautiful Layering Poinsettia dies from Hero Arts. I used some Festive Berries
Distress Oxide Ink for the flowers and Mowed Lawn for the leaves.
I die cut the center of the leaves out in gold foil cardstock.

Here is a closeup of the beautiful flowers:

Thank you so much for joining me on the morning of Christmas Eve 2019
for a little cup of patience. I hope this card and post put a smile on your face
and gives you a little boost of patience to face those friends and family
that require just a little more patience!
Happy Holidays and enjoy your day,
I already am!

Angies Digital Stamps February Challenge

Hello again crafty friends!
It's time for another fun challenge over at Angies Digital stamps

The design team has created some wonderful projects
for this month's challenge.
The theme for February is Anything Goes with an optional "Love" twist.
It is challenge #28 and it runs from 2/3/19 - 2/22/19.

Here is my card for this month:

This month I chose to design a card using Angies Heart Cupcake
digital image and color it with my Copic markers.
This cupcake is one of my favorite images.
I just love the little hearts all over it and it is perfect
for the Love theme this month.
I die cut the front panel with the Simon Says Stamp Heart Sprinkle Wreath die
and then I embossed the same panel with an embossing folder from
We R Memory Keepers.
I did some ink blending on the bottom panel to show
through the wreath die.
The stamp set I used is called Sweet Wishes
from My Creative Time and has the "Sweet" coordinating die.

I love how this card turned out and I hope you'll all play along with us
this month at Angies!
Enjoy your day, I already am!

Foxy KaDoodle Bug Cards

Good morning crafty friends!
For the past 2 weeks the KaDoodle Bug design team has been sharing
Winter Birthday cards in their Facebook group.
I have 2 adorable cards I wanted to share with you using some of the adorable
fox images in the shop.
The first card features 2 foxes from the Playful Foxes file.
I just love those sweet little foxes and I was inspired by the recent
My Favorite Things release and their adorable foxes!
I made a birthday card using 2 of the sweet images from the file.

The scalloped rectangle panels are from Neat and Tangled and I used
pink polka dot paper from Papertrey Ink for the larger panel.
The sentiment is from a My Creative Time stamp set called Sweet Wishes.
The hearts are from one of my Recollections punches
and for the arrows I used a die set from Little B called Party.
I am totally smitten with this card and I LOVE how it turned out!
I can't wait to give it to a sweet someone for their birthday!

For my second birthday card I used the adorable fox image from
the Woodland Foxes file.

I started by cutting a panel of watercolor paper from the Fancy Frame Dies
by Craftin Desert Divas. I used Peacock Feathers distress ink to give the
center of the panel a wash of color for my background.
The beautiful Happy Birthday sentiment is from a Close To My Heart
stamp set called Joyful Birthday Occasions and the
foxy letters are from the Lawn Fawn Quinn ABC's dies.
I just love how that cute little fox looks with his sweet little party hat!

I am thankful that the theme was Birthday because I never seem
to have enough birthday cards on hand!

Thanks for stopping by today to check out my fun foxy cards!
Check out the KaDoodle Bug shop for lots more adorable SVG and Print and Cut
files!  There are some really cute new dragon files available that I will be using soon!

Have a great day, I already am!

Happy Little Stampers ATC December Challenge

Hello everyone!
I am back again with the

Every month Happy Little Stampers has an
ATC challenge and the theme for December is Pets.
For anyone who isn't familiar with ATC cards, they are mini
works of art that measure 2.5" x 3.5" and are traded around the world.
Usually they are numbered and signed on the back by the artist.

For my pet themed ATC I decided to emboss the background of my card with a
paw print embossing folder and paint it with some off white paint
followed by some soft inking in blue.
I added a cute little doggie from Pretty Pink Posh
and a sentiment from My Creative Time!
To finish it off I added some cute red glittered hearts.

I hope you'll play along with us this month
and enter the ATC challenge at
The winner for this challenge will receive a $20 coupon to spend at the shop!

IF YOU USE STAMPS BY HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS
AND YOU ARE OUR RANDOM WINNER,
YOUR PRIZE WILL BE DOUBLED!

Have a great day, I already am!

Spring & Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop

Hello Crafty Coffee Lovers!
Kat Scrappiness is hopping along today as a super sponsor with the
The best part about this hop is that you don't have to love coffee to participate!  You just have to love sharing in all of the crafty coffee fun!  I personally do love a good cup of coffee especially at work and I am definitely an iced coffee lover!  If you use coupon code ILOVECOFFEE between 5/25 and 6/1 you will receive 10% off your order in the Kat Scrappiness shop.
Also Kat is giving away two $25 gift cards to the store and a flash prize of a Layered Coffee Cup Die and a "got coffee" sentiment die.

Kat Scrappiness released two awesome coffee themed dies recently and they are so much fun to create with.  The first is a layered coffee cup die and the second is a "got coffee" sentiment die.
Here are the pictures of the two dies:
,

I had fun with these 2 dies and I created 1 gift bag and 3 cards with them.
The first project is the mini gift bag that I assembled using the
Kat Scrappiness Stitched Heart Tags Die.  Thank you to Maria Russell for making a video showing how to make a mini gift bag from these dies.  I decorated the front of the card using the 2 coffee dies
and splattered the aqua heart tag with some Ground Espresso Distress Ink.  The stamped sentiment is from Technique Tuesday's Sassy Coffee stamp set and it is stamped onto a Stitched Flag Die that is new in the KS shop this month.

The next 2 cards feature the Layered Coffee Cup Die again with some fun colorful effects!  The first card below with the pink cup was made using a pearlescent pink watercolor from the Kuretake Gansai Tambi pearl color set.  It really stands out against the embossed background.  I stamped a heart from the Swatches stamp set and heat embossed it in gold on the white cozy. I die cut the "coffee" word from the "got coffee" sentiment 3 times in 3 different colors to repeat down the side of the card.  I finished off the card with some sparkly sequins from Kat's shop.
The second card has a distressed coffee stained background that I achieved by smooshing some Ground Espresso ink onto a piece of acetate and then spraying with water.  I then smooshed the acetate against the cream colored paper to give the distressed coffee colored look.  I love that effect!  I stamped the star from the Swatches stamp set onto the cozy and then sent it through the paper crimper to give it a realistic look.  Same die but two very different looks!

The last card I want to share with you is perfect for the Spring/Summer theme.  It features a very colorful tropical setting with the cutest little Denami hula chickie on the front! I decorated the cup and the cozy with some flowers from My Favorite Things and the grass die is from Lawn Fawn.  The super cute clouds are from Paper Smooches and the bright sun is from My Creative Time. I love how bright and cheery this card turned out and the Kat Scrappiness Layered Coffee Cup Die is the perfect large focal point!

Thanks again for hopping along with Kat Scrappiness today in the Spring and Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop.  Make sure to check out all of the fun projects from all of the other talented designers today!  Don't forget to use code ILOVECOFFEE to save 10% in the Kat Scrappiness shop from

Get Creative Challenge - #69

Hi everyone!  I'm so excited to be joining Angie and the rest of the talented design team
over at the Get Creative Challenge blog.  Big thanks to Angie for asking me to join the team!

The Pink team is using digi images from 3 sponsors this month. Knitty Kitty, QKR Stampede and Wink Wink Ink. This is challenge #69 with a theme of Lots of Flowers.  On my card I used the adorable Poodle image from Wink Wink Ink.  I printed the darling Poodle out and die cut a Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fancy Scalloped Square around her.  I stamped the sentiment from a My Creative Time stamp set called Loyal Friends.  I used a new cardstock color from Papertrey Ink called Weathervane for the card base and finished off the card with some gray twine from Lawn Fawn. For a little pop of color I added a small red glittered heart to the sweet Poodle.

Make sure to visit the other Design Team members blogs and see the beautiful cards they've created! Please remember you have all month to play along.
See challenge blog for official rules and have fun!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day, I already am!

SSS Wednesday Challenge

I made a really fun card tonight with a fun rainbow background and some embossed rain drops.  It looks like patterned paper so I'm entering it into this weeks SSS Wednesday challenge.  The challenge is to used store bought patterned paper in your project or make your own.  I used distress inks to blend a rainbow background and then I used the SSS raindrops stencil and some white embossing powder to give it a rainy day look.  The sun, clouds and sentiment are from My Creative Time.  I recently renovated my craft room and it's amazing what organizing your craft room does for your creativity!  Enjoy your weekend everyone, I think we are headed to the fair tomorrow.  I'm sure there is some fried dough with my name on it.๐Ÿ˜‚
Here is my card for this week

A few cards to share

Here are some of the cards I've made recently.  Some were originals and some were copies of cards I've loved.  I copied the dog "box" card to give to my daughter.  She is a real dog person! She has a Havanese named Sophie.  She just loved that card! I'll be back soon with some more cards and projects.
